A collection of proven tactics for simplifying life teaches readers how to re-organize and re-prioritize their lives with an emphasis on balance. 20,000 first printing. Original. 20,000 first printing.
This is one of the best books I've read about simplifying. The authors offer clearcut steps you can take and acknowledge that there are different levels within those steps at the same time. Most importantly, there is no judgment in this book - it is very much about doing what you want to/can do to make your life fit your needs, while at the same time acknowledging that maybe you haven't had the time to think about what you really need lately. This has provided me with the opportunity to reflect on a few things I hope to add (or subtract) from my life over the next year.
My favorite suggestion in the book is #42, "Create an Acronym All Your Own". For example, CREW might stand for create - read - exercise - write. Write this in your planner, and underline the letter when you have completed it. This will help you to live a more soulful life, by reminding you to do the things that make you happy.
Este libro pertenece a las "lecturas culposas que disfruto", hay varios consejos útiles que rayan en la autoayuda pero que si somos abiertos y los vemos desde otro ángulo pueden resultar beneficiosos.
