Death didn’t scare Lilith Whitlock. At the ripe age of twenty, she preferred to take whatever life threw at her, and if death was a curveball, she’d catch it.
What she didn’t expect was for impending death to be stalled by being transformed into a vampire.

With sharp, pointy teeth and a hunger for blood, Lilith adapted to her new life. Befriending three hot vampires with a mission to maintain balance had something to do with that, but the paranormal world wasn’t perfect.

Especially when she learned creating new vampires was illegal. Now, she had to prove herself as indispensable to the Order of the Void, or she’d be obliterated from existence.

No one mentioned that being a new-blood came with a looming threat and imminent danger.

Crimson Tears is book one of three in the Crimson Demon Trilogy. It is a paranormal why-choose romance centered around three vampires and one demon. All members of the harem are introduced in book one. It contains mature subject matter that might not be suitable for all readers.

I had a little bit of a hard time getting into this book at the beginning. There was just a lot going on and not enough depth it felt like to draw you in. The 3 vampires also felt a little flat at the beginning. However, once the vampires start training Lilith the dynamic in the story changes and the characters start coming to life. It turned into a great read overall. I liked Lilith from the beginning- she's sassy and just refreshingly honest. Blaise grows on you as the sexy flirt and Kai is just sweet. I really liked Thaddeus from the beginning as well but felt like he took the longest to grow into a fleshed out character. Then there's Jax - oh my! Now him I was drawn to from the get go.

Definitely give this read a shot. Once you get over the 1st couple of chapters it becomes hard to walk away and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to book 2.

So far, I’m invested.
I really like all of the characters.
And we got an animal companion of sorts just like I was hoping, since I read one of her other series and liked the one in that one so much.
The plot seems super cool.
Im really digging the lore and powers and all of that.

Hopefully, things get progressively better and I can actually find the will and want to finish the trilogy.

Oh. PS: I forgot to mention that it’s single POV…and I’m over halfway through the second book, it’s also single POV. I mean, unless we sneak in a little side perspective at the end. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t hate it.
I wish it wasn’t. But it’s not a enemies to lovers, there wasn’t really all that much tension or pining, so I’m not all that worried about it.
I still wish we got to see what was in their heads…especially Blaise…but whatever.

Great start to the series

This is the first novel I've read from the author and I'm looking forward to more. Lilith feels like she's meant for more then she hits some weird animal and wakes up in the supernatural world.

Clan Draven saves Lilith and now has to pay the consequences. I loved the character of lilith and the way she said what was on her mind. She definitely had alot going on and she kept training to get better. In the process she discovers she is quite more than she thought, while also discovering the hotness and connection with Thaddeus, Kai and Blaise.

Ms. Lyra Winters has created a world that is so well written, it has grabbed my attention fairly quickly. This story holds a strong heroine that has secrets that she doesn’t even realize. Lust filled male characters, with a lust filled female lead will definitely lead to some hot and steamy scenes. If you are into strong hot characters in a paranormal universe this book is for you!!

3.5 stars! Look, this book was unique, quirky, and fast paced. It was around 199 pages, so the characters didn’t really mess around and the author wrote the characters to be in rush. Usually, I would be annoyed about the fast paced of the book, but ironically it wasn’t bad and it worked.

Hopefully in book two the characters well spend some time with each other and develop a stronger relationship.

What frustrated me, was how the FMC acted in relations to her family. Meaning, she got in a seriously bad accident, diedish, became a vampire, but was told she couldn’t contact family until she was done training (which was approximately 3 weeks or so...) and when she basically finished training she snuck out to see them and something bad happen that I won’t mention...but at the end she basically leaves/says goodbye forever... 🤔 In my opinion FMC could have done a better with that situation. 🤷‍♀️

Also, I though Kai was mentioned as a blond at one moment, but throughout the book he was a red head..? Maybe I misread...?

Anyway, I enjoyed the book and I am curious and intrigued enough to read the second book once it comes out.

This review is of my own opinion.

I received an ARC of this book and am excited for book two!
This is a fast paced novel that throws you right into the thick of it from Chapter 1. Lilith becomes a vampire and doesn’t spend time freaking out about it. She accepts her fate and rolls with it. Who would complain with three hot vampires to help you with the process! Blaise, Kai and Thaddeus are as Lilith puts it “f***ing perfect, handsome stranger”.
There was incredible action (I wouldn’t want to take Lilith on in a fight), sexiness (hello Thaddeus), kitty cats (I’m looking at you Jax) and twists and turns at every corner!
I was on the edge of my seat as to what was going to happen next!
Super excited for the next book and to learn more about Lilith and the boys!

Wow what a freaking amazing story!!! This was one of the first stories I have read from Lyra Winters and I seriously want her next book now. Very well written. Love Lilith she was a great main character. Heck I love the guys from the Draven clan. I want each one. Storyline drew me in right away. I dont like to give away any spoilers. Better to find out what happens in your own. Definitely recommend.

My first ARC and a 100% honest review

I like how fast paced with was. As someone who reads loads of novellas, I'd say this is medium paced. I liked how the author didn't spend the majority of the book with Lillith freaking out about learning she's a vampire, I don't enjoy that so I'm glad this author gave her the mindset of "okay this is my life now" instead of the dramatics. I felt like each man had their own personality. With reverse harems, there's always the possibility that you can't tell the difference with each man and you definitely can with this book. Kai is the cutie pie, Blaise is the flirt and Thaddeus is the hardheaded distant one but also the protector, they all are but Thad is number one. I'm glad that instead of obsessing over her men, she still has the guilt of her family not knowing she's alive. And her missing her cat. The twist was great and I didn't predict it for awhile

However, the dialog felt juvenile at times. I read lots of adult romance with them being in their late 20's early 30's and sometimes late 30's nearly 40 so for these men being in their 300's, the dialog at times was a bit juvenile.
Example:
"You're fuckin nutcases"- Lilltih
"Abso-bloody-lootley we are" -Baise
-
"thats offensive Poppy (Lillith) I'm not that old" - Blaise
"Sure you are"- Lillith
-
I also felt like her and Thad was similar to Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. He reminded me of when Edward was telling Bella how he has no soul and she should stay away from him. Thad felt like he doesn't deserve happiness and told Lillith to not press him for answers or vulnerability. But THANKFULLY that didn't last long which I'm grateful for because that would ruin the dynamic of a harem, if one of the guys only had sex with the woman but not express his feelings. So glad it didn't last too long🤣🤣

Overall, I enjoyed this, read it twice for a honest review. I'm really glad I got this ARC, thank you for this opportunity

Lyra has created an amazing world that you just want to immerse yourself into.

Our FMC Lilith, is just a normal girl who died at her brothers birthday but when she's saved she then has a lust for something more in her life.... little did she know there was sooooooo much more to her world.

We get to meet 3 of our the MMC's early on, its kinda their fault everything changes for Lilith... men what can you say!

Thaddeus - the strong, brooding leader, who is more broken then he'll let anyone see. He holds a darkness close to him but when he loves he's all in and super protective.

Blaise - the super hottie, with a voice to match his body. He can train you defend that body as quickly as he can destroy it. He also has the ability to hear your thoughts which comes in so very useful when he first meets Lilith until she realises what he does.

Kai - The super sweet, bright eyed heart throb, who is so open and caring but boy did he have a tough time to being with. His story really breaks your heart but helps bring him closer to Lilith.. so it's all good.

Lastly we meet Aziel, well we meet him early on but don't know who he really is. He believes he failed his beloved and throws a spanner in the works when it all comes out but damn he is dark and dangerous.

I love all the guys and how different they are they make the perfect harem.. pure genius! Lilith is just wicked and I cant wait to see their relationship develop throughout the trilogy.

I know these books are going to be amazing. There will be twists and turns galore but it will be worth it to hold on and see it through!!!

So this is the first time I have read a book by Lyra Winters and I gotta say I loved it. To me it was way different than what I expected. So we do have demons, angels, vampires, shifters, we have a lot of things. Now Lilith is a human who had experienced death as a teenager and that changed her in some way. She new she was meant for more but what. She felt like there was something missing in her life. I mean she has brothers and a boyfriend and was living life but wants more of something. What that is she has no idea. Then one night everything changes. She begins a new life and has to adjust to it. She finds herself surrounded by some sexy men. Blaise, Thaddeus and Kai are not your ordinary men. No they are VAMPIRES!! So now this is where the mystery begins. The guys have to train Lilith, but she wants to go back to her life but she does not want to hurt her family. There is a Crimson Demon the guys are looking for and then they have to watch out for a psycho man named Viktor. This man likes to kill newly changed vampires for their powers. There is some fighting going on against the bad guys. We also have betrayals, and tragedy. It gets intense at moments and other moments gets steamy. We also have Jax aka Aziel we need to watch out for. The way it ends leaving us wanting more and what is going to happen. All the revelations that happen was crazy. I cannot wait for what is to come.

*Cue dying whale noises* That ending. That fucking twist fucked me up. IN A COOL WAY.

Ok, with that out of the way, here's what my thoughts are-

The book doesn't beat around the bush. It gets right into the action from page one and I LOVE that. Lilith is an amazing and realistic character. She's strong and isn't a doormat at all. The way she takes everything head-on is great. Then comes our men, the vampires. Man, it has been SO LONG since I read vampire PNR books. This was very satisfying but also nostalgic. I loved all our boys but a particular someone has my whole heart but that would be a spoiler so not gonna mention him.

The book starts out good and the second half is even better. The twists were completely unexpected. NEVER SAW ANY COMING but I loved every single one of them, especially my cat baby(I call dibs on him). Lyra, hun, I'm looking at you, you better not hurt my baby or I'll hunt you down. I'm head over heels for him, he's so precious.

The book has heavy British English, I don't think I have read any such book(other than Wattpad) and it was hilarious. You will end up with more questions than when you started. It's a trilogy and thank God we will have the other books soon(but not soon enough, if you ask me). I can't wait to get back into this world. Lyra has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Crimson Tears is a new reverse harem novel centered around Lilith. She is just a normal girl living a normal small-town life until one night a devastating accident happens. She hits something in the middle of the road, causing her to get tossed through her windshield. On the brink of death, she is rescued by three vampires - Thaddeus, Kai, and Blaise.

I enjoyed the instant camaraderie between her and the guys. I don’t think it’s exactly fast burn, but definitely not slow burn. Lilith feels this connection with them, and adapts well with her new life. Why freak out when you can’t change it?

Lilith works hard to master her powers and skills so she can pass the Order’s tests. Not only so she could see her family again, but for those delicious rewards she was promised. Some things worked out, some things didn’t.

I had a feeling Jax was something more, no cat would act like he did. I’m glad I wasn’t wrong! I also wasn’t completely surprised at the reveal at the end of the book, it’s one of those things that you just know from the beginning, or from the cover/title or book blurb. It doesn’t take away from the book, but it gives you something to expect and build towards.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I will definitely be picking up the next books to see what happens next!

I don’t read many paranormal romances but it’s books like this that keeps me coming back. This is the first book by Lyra Winters that I have read and I can’t wait to read the next book in this trilogy especially after that ending.

I loved Lilith especially her sassy mouth and her kickass attitude. I knew from the very first moment I met her that there was something about this girl and oh boy you aren’t ready for this because neither was I.

Omg what can I say about The Draven Clan except for hubba hubba. No seriously wrap up the hot vampires and deliver them to my house thank you very much. I love how Thaddeus, Kai and Blaise are totally different from each other. Thaddeus is the headstrong dominant protector, Kai is the cheeky cuddly one and Blaise is definitely the flirty one. I did that all three of them and Lilith were absolutely hilarious.

There are a lot of twists and secrets that unravel as the story progresses which I definitely didn’t predict except for one which I sort had an inkling about. That ending blew my mind and it answered a lot of questions but it also created so many new ones.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VAMPIRE BOOK

Bloody Hell‼What did I just read?
I could not seriously not stop turning page after page of this toe curling, edge of your seat masterpiece‼First of all the story was classic vampire, from page 1. Second, this brilliant Author pieced together a perfect paranormal world with other supernatural characters key to the plot. The main character, Lillith, will keep you smiling with her personality. Her vampires are smoking hot and the chemistry and sexual encounters are delicious. Prepare for twists, action, drama and vampires‼This book is refreshing, true to the vampire genre, peppered with RH‼ And this is only the first installment of a Trilogy‼ I can't wait to read the next book and get blown away‼Get your copy today and get wisked away to Emeraldsville, but take a 🍷 and some towels‼😜😍💯 Stars🔥

Lilith has got to be one of my all time favorite characters when she is written correctly!
Lyra Winters does that and more! This book is spectacular and better then I could have imagined. They don't call her the mother of demons for nothing. She's supposed to have caring and fiercely protective side.
It had all the fun elements of any great paranormal romance, but with allot of really great original twists.
And Lilith's harem wait till you meet the boys there isn't a single one of them not to like. There is something fun and playful about each of them even grumpy Thaddeus. He doesn't show it often and if you blink or skip a word you might miss it.
I absolutely can not wait for Book 2❣️

Lyra Winters did a sensational job with the first book of this series. Didn’t want to put it down once I started it. Crimson Tears absorbs you into the storyline so, that everything else just fades into background noise. This will not be the last book that I read from this author. Can’t wait to read the next two books in this trilogy.
Lyra Winters, girl you created remarkable characters. It is hard to pick a fave but Aziel would probably be it. All of the characters just jump off the pages. This book has action, drama, twists and turns, surprises, and steam that will have you begging to know more. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a phenomenal RH story.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy.
I have read quite a few paranormal and this one was extremely different. Lilith gets in an accident and is thrown from the car when she almost hits basically an escapee from hell being chased by a three vampires. They break the law and turn her. The one that turns her face is a traction because he doesn't feel worthy because of his past. All of them have their pass including Lilith that I figured out well before it was announced but still plenty of twists and turns and excitement in this book. Her harem consists of the three vampire and a demon. I did not see that coming the demon that is LOL I am incredibly excited for a book too.

Crimson Tears is the first book I've read by Lyra Winters and I'm excited to say I've found a new writer that I love. Lilith (FMC) is a character you warm to instantly or at least I did. She's strong but full of sass and wit. Having died twice and waking up a Vampire with 3 hot Vampires - Thaddeus, Blaise and Kai are the reason why. Her internal discussions were hilarious and the fact Blaise could hear her had me cracking up. It was a constant source of laughs throughout this book. It was chock full of plot twists and Steamy fun. I cannot wait for the next book because this one was so bloody good!!

Love Lilith and her men

Lilith was driving along when she gets into a weird accident. As she is lying on the ground dying she sees three men and than pass out. She awakes to the three men Thaddeus, Kai, and Blaise who explain to her she’s a vampire. All she wants to do is go home and see her family so see makes a deal to train with them and learn how to control her vampire. The attraction is insane between all four of them. Can Lilith get herself trained and can she have all three ? There are so many twist and turns. Amazing Book. This is my first book with this Author definitely not my last. First book in a series.

Amazing read! I could not put this down. I was trying hard to anticipate what would happen next and I couldn't be more wrong at every time.
Lilith Whitlock has never been scared of Death and is strangely comforted by thoughts of hell, since the nearly drowning at her Brothers 21st Birthday party!
One late night ends in disaster when the thing of nightmares comes out of the darkness causing an accident that Lilith cannot hope to survive and what happens next is the beginning of the end of her life.
This is a fantastic read and i cannot wait to get my hands on the next.

I really enjoyed this book, it is book 1 in the trilogy.
Lilith is plodding along with life until she hits a strange animal with her car and everything changes. All of a sudden she is thrown into a supernatural world she didn't even know about, with only 3 handsome vampires to show her the ropes.
Lilith is not shy to say what she wants, especially with the guys, although they are definitely keeping some info from her.
The storyline was interesting and kept me reading. There will definitely be lots more to learn about Lilith, the vampires and others in the next books.

Unexpectedly awesome! Lilith was not expecting to die on an empty back road in Alaska, she certainly didn’t expect to be saved by three sexy vampires either. When she finds out that turning humans is illegal she must prepare to be tested by the Order. Failure means death—a permanent one. She is also being stalked by a vampire that kills the newly turned to harvest their powers. So many twists and turns with well developed characters that each have their own story to tell. A must read! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!!

Lyra Winters is a new author to me, and I’m happy to say she’s one I will continue to read. Crimson Tears is the first in a new trilogy following Lillith, a newly turned vampire, and her band of protectors. The story is fast paced and the concept is interesting. We discover a lot about Lillith’s past and are left with more questions at the end of the book, which I’m hoping will get answered in the next. I’m also hoping for a more deeper connection between our characters in the upcoming books. This is a medium burn rh, which I would recommend to pnr fans.

Well, that was unexpected! When I first started “Crimson Tears,” I immediately had a twilight vibe and I was not excited but then everything flipped. We got angels, demons, shifters, vampires, and so much more in this book. Lilith is leading a normal boring life when she is involved in a car wreck. The Draven clan saves her from death. Lilith has died before but this time she is turned into a vampire. But wait, she is also so much more. This is an introduction to a series so the book is laying some groundwork. Everything is building up to a reveal that left me shocked. The Draven clan is extremely sexy and the heat in this book is next level. I can’t wait to see what happens next. If you like a sexy paranormal RH that includes lots of action, then you’ll love this.

Wow so I don’t even know where to start with this book. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. Lilith’s story is one of the best paranormal stories that I’ve ever read. Thaddeus, Blaise and Kai are just hot hot hot and then Aziel gets thrown in the mix later in the story and it gets even hotter. There are many twists and turns in this book so it keeps you on your toes and wondering just what’s going to happen next. This has everything you could want in a book. Angst, heartbreak, some hot sex and just an all around roller coaster ride is what your going to get with this book. I don’t really want to say anything about what happens in the book because I don’t want to give anything away so just know this is a book you absolutely must read and your sooooo missing out if you don’t!!

Interesting

I wasn’t sure where this story was going to lead. Lilith is such an interesting character she suffers so much from the start of the book. You never know what is going to happen next to the poor girl.
The guys are a great bunch they each have their own amusing traits.
Twists and turns aplenty in this book right up to the last page.
Highly recommend this one looking forward to the next book.
