Oak Grove #9

Omega Uncorked

Rate this book
Not all happy ever afters include a picket fence, but a roof might be nice.

Omega Nathan comes to Oak Grove with one goal: to make things easier for his family and earn enough money to cover his father’s medical bills. He lives in his car, sending every penny he can home to his family. The hashtag VanLife is always trending, so it can’t be that bad to live in his car.

And it isn’t, but it sure is lonely.

Alpha Walt might be new to Oak Grove, but he already feels right at home thanks to his job at The Fallen Nut. It’s a great job with great people...and everything he looked for when moving to town.

But it sure is lonely.

When the two meet, the attraction is instant. If only Walt didn’t feel like he was being shut out—shut out of something important.

Omega Uncorked is the ninth book in the popular Aria Grace and Lorelei M Hart sweet with knotty heat MM mpreg romance series: Oak Grove. Nice little story. Quick read with a HEA.

I couldn't give this story more stars as I really felt like it was missing things. At times the timeline seemed jumpy and it wasn't always clear how the characters for from point A to point B. It just seemed to magically happen off the page and it just made it feel a bit clunky. This is the first one of these stories where I have felt this way though.

I enjoyed this story with the two men being lonely and meeting at The Fallen Nut. I loved the dilemma with secrets but it did become a little tiring in the end. I did like the way that Walt was keen to look after and care for Nathan. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

You can't date your patient, even though he wants you to. Right?

Welcome back to the world of Oak Grove & the Fallen Nut. Where alphas are protective, omegas are to be cherished, and true love abounds. I love it here! I have been awaiting this book... it did not disappoint. It has secrets, family angst, cop/ doc dynamic, great sex, and an unexpected pregnancy. What's not to love! Come and join Nathan and Walt on their journey to HEA. You will be glad you came along. You are gonna love this book! I can't wait for the final book in this wonderful series. Hey! Do yourself a favor and read the previous books. Time. Well. Spent.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Walt and Nathan

Nathan is an omega who has the world on his shoulders. He and his sister are taking care of their father in an assisted living room, paying all the bills themselves. He’s living in his car and desperately needs a job. Walt works at an omega bar bar tending. He really is interested in Nathan, but is getting mixed signals from him.
A cute story I enjoyed reading.

So much

Nathan and Walt go through so much. I don't blame Nathan for keeping secrets, I probably would too. I thought he had such a huge heart.

Great

Another great addition to this truly wonderful series of books. Poor Nathan finds everything he needs eventually but not without a bit of trouble and heartache.

I loved this book so much I read it in one sitting. Nate was dealing with so much and wasn't sure about wanting Walt.

I received an advanced copy of this book and was not required to leave a review.

Homeless

Nathan is living in his car when he meets Walt. He needs the job at The Fallen Nut to help pay his fathers bills. He never expected to find love. Great romance.
