Love, Power, and Justice is a logical analysis of human consciousness striving to improve. It is very evident that the author, William Hatcher, was a mathematician. As such, I could see the writing style and indeed entire approach of the book putting off a reader who finds it difficult to think along a mathematical structure. However, I believe it would be worthwhile for such a person to read the book nonetheless and appreciate to the best of their ability.
The book offers a unique outlook on one of the most common human struggles. I imagine it will be just as useful as a reference as it was enlightening to read.
This book is an amazingly concise thesis on a broad morality that is not specific to any particular religion. From very simple principles and sound logic, William S. Hatcher goes through practical details of how to implement a higher sense of morality into our everyday lives.
The most profound and transformative book of moral philosophy I’ve read. William Hatcher is one of the significant philosophers of the later 20th Century. Each word is placed with care and clarity- its logic brought to the level of poetry or mathematics. Honestly mind-blowing!
