Sequel to Player Next Door. Millie Ripley is in too deep. Her relationship with the Dawson brothers is creating waves, a mystery blackmailer is out to ruin her life and... she's still trying to make it through high school. What happened to being invisible?
It was long, and painfull and being sencere very unpleasant of her to make me wait for another book. I was heart broken to see how the book just ended and there were no more chapters and there was another yet unfinished and I think not even started thrill and love filled book to read. So I'm just merely waiting for the next update to appear.
To remember: Luke and millie are a couple. Luke is a jock . He plays basketball and is shooting for the NBA. He is going away to Kentucky Wildcats i think for college and that is far away from Dupont avenue (their neighborhood). He became soft with when Millie came along and they met at summer camp and they've overcame a lot since then.
Millie likes math. She has trust issues and self-confidence issues as well. Her father abandoned her and all she has left of him was his vinil collection. Her ex is called Kaden and he is a self centered b*tch and d*ckhead. Luke was a second away of killing him trying to get information out of him and Millie saved him and that became a fight (a big one). Then they were trying to sort it out but the principal came and gave all of them a week of suspension. She missed her mathlete competition. Cearra is her bestfriend and she has a crush on Austin that is Luke's bestfriend. Luke was a player then no more when she met her. Then there was a blackmailer and he at first sent letters to Millie trying to make her backoff from the Dawson brothers. Luke has a brother his name is Jake and he had/s a crush on Millie as well. Luke and Millie are now in love. She saved a racoon once.

Yesss!!! This book was longer then the first and so so so good! However, the second hand embarrassment was toooooo much to handle!! 😭😭😭 But I absolutely LOVED seeing Millie and Luke again!
it started good but the end wasn’t what i expected it to be. maybe because the author said there would be a third book but she seems to have gone of the grid. maybe if there was a third book all of the lose ends would have made sense. we never found out with the person in millie’s room was and so many other things.

Love love love this book! Second time reading as I'm still desperately awaiting a third instalment. Such a touching story line but done with amazing humour to lift it! Use the door is all I will say
This book is an amazing load of humor, romance, drama, friendships, character growth, and all around goodness.
Except for the romantic tension. I get why it was there and it did make the book more gripping to read, but i still could have done without it.😅
Especially like the last twenty chapters. Can i say NAIL BITING?! i dont bite my nails at all and this book didn't break me that way but i was certainly chewing my lower lip and barely keeping myself from making anxious noises cause i was reading late at night and couldn't wake up the household. Those chapters were tense! I can usually handle the tense stuff, but when i cant see the outcome of things like i usually am able to, i actually freak out a little bit. The first five chapters into the ending of it all i was like okay, hopefully this should end soon and things will be wrapped up nicely. I could see it so perfectly in my mind. NOPE! Natalie just murdered my perfectly HAPPYILY wrapped expectations for how this book was going to end. The ending was blown way outta proportion. By chapter ten of the ending of it all i was furiously trying to get off the train that was surely going to wreck and i was sure i was going to die. It was just too much. By chapter 15, i was like are you done hammering nails into my coffin so i can just get it and die already? It was really dragged out and my nerves were absolutely fried by the actual ending of this book. I couldn't stop reading until i knew Luke and Millie's relationship was going to last.
They are balanced out FOR NOW. Like on the tip of a blade. But if they move even a little bit out of their balance, i seriously cant see how they are going to last long term. Im rooting for long term, and with how far i have been with them together, it would break my heart if they did break up permanently over these problems even though i wouldn't blame them if they did. They are only teenagers in high school and dealing with adult problems. So ALOT of problems need solving and more positive character growth is needed. Things need to change. Both around them and within them. Most of all they need to be on a untied front. So getting all these insecurities and misunderstandings out of the way is a must.
I really cant wait for book three. I need to know how it is all resolved. I cant have peace of mind for my characters until then.
