A book about the four seasons for those like us in upstate New York that get to enjoy all of them with their beautiful colors, fun, and adventure. The picture book is an adventure in itself with a nicely complimented set of scenes to the seasons and the story itself written by Moore.

This is "poetic," yet it doesn't read smoothly. Several pages have a definite rhythmic pattern, then the pattern disappears, then it reappears. It makes things choppy. And while the artist's work may be great on murals, it has an exaggerated style more for a graphic novel then for a picture book.
This had so much potential, but it disappoints.

Some of the rhymes feel a little forced but I love the concept and the illustrations.
