Homicide Detective Caleb Larkin was undercover at a sex party when he first rescues the beautiful redhead from a lecherous old man. Although he was there trying to gather Intel about missing young girls, he hadn’t imagined he end up with one of his own girls to keep.
No matter how you slice it, she’s far too young and sweet for the things I long to do to her. Too pure and perfect for the filthy words I’d whisper in her ear.
Evidentially out of her depth, the lure of hunger and money has Holly and her friend Kenzie in attendance at a party trading sexual favours for payment. Barely living off the streets, each do what they can to get by. But when Kenzie never returns home from the party, Holly must turn to the one man that promised to be there if she needed.
I have zero business lusting after this angel. I should be content helping her, not thinking about her in pyjamas before I tell her to open her mouth for my cock.
Finding themselves working a case that is filled with corruption, trafficking and cover ups, this author did a great job weaving a love story throughout. And if you’ve enjoyed Margot Scott in the past, the daddy kink trope we adore was certainly present. Yet in Stay Baby Stay, the love between a jaded older cop and a vulnerable young woman blossomed in the background. And even with the steaminess of their sexfest, I completely enjoyed the suspenseful storyline. Finally, a daddy kink book with depth…

This is a totally different story by MS than any I’ve read before. Which is both a good thing and a bad thing. I’m both appreciative and discouraged about the actual storyline. Appreciative because it’s entertaining and I’m always down for a serial killer arc. And discouraged because of the lack of sex I’ve come to expect from MS.
I may have to rethink my whole not liking cops as book boyfriends because Cal is yummy.
I’m not sure, it may just be me but every time he commiserated about his inner demons (you know, the bedroom variety) I was thinking let ‘em loose.
It’s not the best murder mystery I’ve ever read but it was entertaining enough. I like the relationship between Cal and Lt. Harris, it reminds me of Eddie Murphy and his boss in Beverly Hills Cop.
“Assuming this means I get my badge back.” He scowls, pulls something from his back pocket, unclips one of his sidearms, and slaps them both into my hand. My badge and gun. “You’re still a pain in my ass, Larkin,” he says.
Really, the best part is the close, loving relationship between Holly and Kenzie. Best friends who are more like sisters, always having each other’s back.
I’m not sure if the police leak was obvious or just because it was similar to another book I read not too long ago.
Overall, it was a good, entertaining read, just not what I’ve come to expect from this writer. I’m really hoping the next book belongs to Kenzie and Austin, they created a really special bond in this one and I’d love to see it flourish.

I know what most of you will be thinking when you see the cover, read the title and possibly the blurb, but you won’t be coming close to what’s on the page. We all expect a certain content in our daddy reads or maybe I should say we all know what content is normally not part of a salacious daddy read. Well, Margot managed to put both what we expect and do not expect, and it turned out to be a nice suspenseful story with a side of delicious daddy and I could not be a happier reader right now. This story took me by surprise in all the right ways. I got my fill of delicious daddy sexy sexy with a well-developed plot and character growth! I mean … what more could you ask for?
Since I started reading Margot's work, she has grown as a writer but also made sure to remain true to her brand and I could not appreciate that more. Sometimes, a girl just wants to read smut and sometimes, that smut comes with a really good story outside the smut. That part is rare. I've read a ton of it to know LOL THIS story was more and it was good, so go do the thing, k :)

This was hot and different from what I expected.

4.5 stars - That was 33 chapters of OH-EM-GEEEE! It starts very dark and depressing. My heart was pounding as the suspense ebbed and flowed. Then there was a shimmer of a beautiful light before light and dark took turns at the wheel, driving this story home.
It should be pointed out that there are several triggers in these 200 or so pages. It deals with a serial killer who preys on VERY young women who are mostly invisible to the world. Sadly, he's not the only depraved person encountered.
While the darkness is what brought Holly (Hollywood, Mia) Clarke and Caleb (Jack Dawes) Larkin together, I'd rather focus on the sweet and steamy relationship between this 18 year-old runaway with serious social anxiety and a cop in his late 30s. I love their story and how they fill the holes in each others souls.
Another thing to love? We get to see Teagan and Jonah Parkes from book 1 (advertised as the prequel to this duet). You don't need to read the first book to keep up but if you've read it, you'll get bonus time with them! We also see the hope of the setup for book 3.
At the end of the day, I'd say this one is dark, delicious, and Daddy dirty. 😘💚

I get where MS is going for. Like, she's trying to branch out, and I get it. But I like it more when she wrote dark dirty stuffs though.
With that said, it's a pretty good story, adding a serial killer into the mix. And of course, the classic ddlg stuffs. Yum all around!

I read this already and didn’t realize I had until I got to chapter 3 and realized I knew the entire story. I didn’t love it the first time or I would have kept all this information with me. I do love Margot’s writing so even though this wasn’t an absolute fav I can still appreciate her style and quality.

Holly and Kenzie are 2 young women, best friends because of fate, who are just trying to make their way in this world.
Holly meets Caleb at a party and this begins the inevitable attraction between this couple and circumstances draw them together in a protective relationship.

Where are all my smut lovers at? This book was everything. It involves a lot of my favorite tropes- older guy/younger women, DDLG(yes, actual DDLG), found family! Swipe to see the edit I made for it! It can be read as a stand-alone too.
TW- Firstly I would like to mention that the book contains topics like sex trafficking, abuse, and murders, so if these are triggers for you then please proceed with caution.
With that out of the way, I was swooning through the entire book. Holly and Caleb are so precious. I want to be Holly, XD. Their chemistry, romance, and understanding of each other are amazing. The plot is great too, some turns I never saw coming.
The pace is great, it would keep you hooked on it. The steamy scenes were everything you would ever want or expect. I wonder if Mackenzie and Austin get their book. I really loved them too and all the side characters. I was glad Holly found a home with those people, she deserves that and more.

The writing is much stronger than Run Baby Run and even though this is still an insta-lust/love scenario I appreciated that the author gave them both a little time to get to know each other and build a little more trust before they jumped into bed together. Their story also takes place over a longer period of time and there was definitely more one on one time outside the bedroom.

This book was such a nice addition to the series. I liked that this time around the story was longer so we really got to know the characters and get deeper into their story. Like the first book this one had insta-love, daddy kink, age gap... But instead of being a super fast burn like RBR, this book was slower in building to their scenes together and I loved it because it gave so much more depth to their relationship.
In this book we have Holly, who like Teagan was raised in foster care, her current situation wasn't the best but at least she has her best-friend Kenzy. The hero this time around is Cal who we were first introduced in book 1, he is a detective who is after a serial killer. Since the first moment they crossed eyes the connection was unmistakable and I loved how supportive they were of each other since the beginning.

Stay Baby Stay was such an easy and fast read, I started and finished in a couple of hours since I couldn't take my eyes off the pages. I loved that we got to see Jonah and Teagan again and I definitely can't wait for the next addiction to the series.

This was a great palate cleanser!! I’ve been looking for daddy kink books since it feels like I’ve already ran through everything out there 😂😭 This has mild dd/lg play. I think it’s a good book to read for anyone who’s just starting to dip their toes in. Not very spicy either!! I really enjoyed the murder/homicide plot. There was a good mix of romance and action.
It’s also really nice to see an fmc that doesn’t make rash decisions? 😂 Most of the time, they can’t be trusted to stay put in dangerous situations. Holly was sensible throughout while still being able to stand her ground in terms of helping with the investigation.
Caleb was yum. No further statement 😂 We love a man in uniform!!! Something about an upstanding member of society whose sweet but can be rough and spoils her girl?? Say no moree

Holly and Kenzie are two girls really down on their luck. When Kenzie is offered a way to make some quick money, Holly does everything she can to change Kenzie mind. When they get to the party, Holly is attracted to this handsome, tall stranger. Little did she know, their lives were quickly going to change. Cal and Holly have to work together to help her friend but there is something more between them. Cal wants to be Holly's dad and Holly wants that too but there are a lot of facts in between them.
I really loved this book. I also loved that Teagan and Jonah make an appearance. I hope there are more books to this series!

The second book in the Daddy Loves You series was an amazing!
I love the way Margot thinks! She creates characters that come from the bottom of the barrel. They have been through so much in their short lives.
Holly was no different. Of course she was trying to do better but when people look down on you for doing what you have to do to get by, you don’t get far.
Cal was a detective trying to solve murders and possibly save others in the process. He too had people working against him to try and derail him from solving the cases.
Together they did the unthinkable. Throw in some steam, a dash of sex, a pinch of love with some daddy play and you have yourself one helluva read!
I can not WAIT for MORE!!
Give it to me Margot...just kidding, I’m patiently waiting for more lol!

I thought that this was another great entry in this enticing series. The storyline had no trouble at all with holding my attention as the well crafted blend of steam, suspense, tension, drama, emotion and kinkiness unfurled across the pages. I really liked Cal and Holly, loved the age gap and thoroughly enjoyed the DD/lg elements. Not for everyone I know, but if you are a fan, than this series is definitely worth checking out. I'm super happy that I did and I hope to see more new entries soon. This is my frank, freely posted review.

I am living for the Daddy Loves You Series!! Margot Scott you did it again. Stay Baby Stay was HOTT! Caleb and Holly's story grabbed my attention from the get go and I couldn't put it down. Holly is sweet and innocent and when her BFF/Sister is missing she leans on the one person who becomes a very important person to her. I loved Caleb's character. He's fiercely protective of Holly and will stop at nothing to help her and stand by her side. Talk about swoon worthy!! And lets not forget those oh so steamy moments!! I can't wait to see what else she has in store for this series.

Caleb is an "undercover" homicide detective working a case that has haunted him for over 2 years when her meets Holly. Holly and Kenzie are trying to do what they can to pay the bills when they get caught up in something that will change their lives forever. Caleb and Holly are dynamite, I loved how their love developed along with the overall storyline. Lots of suspense, drama and the daddy theme; it was good to see old character from Margot's other book run baby run.

For some read I love the whole Daddy theme and this series is hitting all the right spots on that. This one had some awesome character’s great suspense and a really cute love story between Caleb and Holly. I really liked them and their dynamic. I’ve been eagerly anticipating getting my hands on this one!! Cal and Holly are amazing and I so hope we get stories for the other 2.
When I started reading their story it completely blocked out everything going on around me. It was just me and the characters. Ms. Scott brings the heat like usual but it’s shot through with suspense, heartache, hope and humor. Plus so much more. This is one I’ll definitely be recommending.

This one took a much darker turn. Still managed to be a sweet story of finding and accepting what you need. Excited to see where this series goes.

I really enjoyed Caleb and Holly's story and didn't want it to end.
It was interesting and entertaining from the beginning until the end.
I cannot wait to see what Margot comes out with next.

Hot and Suspenseful
This book has everything you could want! Suspense, romance, and the dirty deeds done in the bedroom… or outside of it. If you love your romance with a side of mystery, this book is a must read.

Now this story got me so hooked I ended up staying up to read instead of sleeping like a normal personal should. Too bad I ain't normal. It was sexy, it was taboo, it was filthy and it was soooo good. So many strong young women in this read.

A great story filled with a naughty girl who needs Daddy by her side to protect her. Cal has been spiraling down for quite sometime...until he meets Holly. But the circumstances they met were dark and became another clue in the case that Cal had been working on. Together they fight to get get Kenzie back and figure out who been leaking information. Lots of heat between Cal and Holly makes for a steamy and intriguing story!

Sweet! I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. Stay Baby Stay is the second book in the Daddy Loves You series. This Holly and Caleb's story. Cal is a detective on a case that is very important to him. Holly and her best friend, Kenzie, grew up in foster care system. The storyline held my attention, the blend of steam, suspense, tension, drama, and emotion. The chemistry with Holly and Caleb is off the charts! It’s full of emotions, love, friendship, family, betrayal, and justice. Fast-paced and hard to put down. Definitely recommend this story! Keep up the good job. Can't wait to read more from this author.
