This is a species-by-species listing of the birds of Alaska, including species photographs, description and a table listing occurance by season & region within the state. Some of my favorite places to birds in Alaska are Homer area (Red-faced Cormorant), Ninilchik pelagic (Short-tailed Shearwater, Aleutian Tern, Kittlitz's Murrelet), and the Denali National Park area (Willow Ptarmigan, Boreal Chickadee, Arctic Warbler, Common Redpoll).
