Sit Down, Shut Up & Hang on: A Biker's Guide to Life

Rate this book
This book is equal parts true grit, road grit, and grits and gravy. Consume and enjoy! Ever been out of gas on a lonely country road? Ever seen a Rocky Mountain sunrise through the spokes of a bike? Ever had to depend on your own skill and determination just to get from here to there? Both hilarious and insightful, this collection of one-liners relates not only to motorcycling but more broadly to life. It represents a philosophy that will be instantly recognizable whether or not you ride a motorcycle. A few Two-lane blacktop isn't a highway--it's an attitude. Whatever it is, it's better done in the wind. Bikes don't leak, they mark their territory. The twisties--not the superslabs--separate the bikers from the squids.

This was at my mom's house (I'm guessing it was my stepfather's as he rode a motorcycle.)

It's a short book filled with sayings related to "bikers". Some of the sayings have illustrations (well all do, but some just have the same flame illustration that's seen on multiple pages while others have illustrations that are specific to that page.)
