The way this story was written oh my, I winced and squirmed with Jack, so vividly described!

This is a number of epilogues that comes after the book Deep Under where Jack and Maddox are introduced. If you have triggers please be sure to check them. The author has warned us. These epilogues are giving insight into life with Jack and Maddox in the next four years. This author has a gifted way to write sex, kink and keep the story interesting and moving right along. I was really excited to read this book for two reasons. I loved Jack and Maddox in the first volume of the series and wanted to see how their relationship was continuing. Second, there were things in this book that I had heard mentioned but knew basically nothing about and I wanted to read about them as written by an author I trust to handle things realistically, sensitively and accurately. Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Warning heavy handed BDSM/NEEDLE PLAY. Back with Maddox after another assignment, Jack is made over into a different version of himself only will his Dom like it or hate it? This was difficult for me, I am not into the more extreme end of the SM dynamic, and this, especially the last chapter had me cringing and freaking out a bit. But, that tells you how well written it is. Jack and Maddox are the perfect opposites for each other and it is great to see them happy and together.

This is a collection of short stories where we get to follow-up on how Jack and Maddox are doing. After reading the first book I was left wanting more of these characters and I was so excited to get more of them. They're back and hotter than ever. I love the mix of tough and tender between them and just how perfect they are for one another. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This epilogue to the first book reads more like a greatest hits of the kink world than anything substantive. Each chapter moves from one kink to the other and it seems the author is just trying to fit as many things into the relationship of the characters as possible. Well-written as usual by Chris, but come on.

This a collection of four short stories featuring Jack and Maddox from Deep Under. Each story is a great glimpse into the lives of these two men. I don't want to say too much and give anything away, but I will say each of the stories is enjoyable and made for a nice quick read.

What a hot read. It's great to catch up with Jack and Maddox. They are together and happy, and their sex life gets kinkier and kinkier. I love how much they love each other. This was an awesome read.
