Yummy! I've tried the Spicy Chicken Katsu, the Vodka Rigatoni, and the Ultimate Brownies.
The Vodka Rigatoni I've made a few more times already as it's so easy and delicious. The Ultimate Brownies were good, but very gooey and sickly - so great in small doses for a treat (/heart attack) The Chicken Katsu was ok, I wasn't so keen on the sauce, but will definitely look at using panko again. Though the amount of washing up that was left in my kitchen afterwards...
Overall, I can't wait to start making more recipes from the book - I've been really impressed so far! The recipes do vary in complexity and time to prepare, and I have found the odd confusing instruction, but the end results have been good. I'd recommend to anyone who likes either cooking or comfort food.
*I received a complimentary copy of the book from TandemCollective and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Very well described recipes and easy to follow. I have seen her videos on tiktok and didn’t realise she wrote the book. Good inspiration to make dinners.
