Do you have a train-obsessed child? Do you love traveling and learning about faraway lands? If so, this is the definitely the book for you!

This book artfully transports you into unique destinations and cultures through the lens of thirteen railroads across six continents.

Something all of these railroads have in common is the stunningly scenic landscapes they transport you through. From the Rocky Mountains, to the Namibia Desert, to the Australian Outback, to the Andes Mountains, these destinations are sure to encourage your wanderlust, especially after being cooped up over the last year!

Each railroad includes the history of why these trains were built, how they operate and let’s you peek inside the experience of a passenger, allowing you to imagine what it would be like riding on one of these trains.

Loved reading this with my 5 year old! After reading about each route we'd watch YouTube videos of the train rides. It captured his attention completely.

It was a good children's train book but there were some other train journeys to be mentioned. Especially the Canadian, a train that travels across a large portion of Canada.
