This volume wraps up the Star Vestige Arc that ends on a grave note. The gang unearth something pretty much unstoppable. Then leads into the Mildian Arc where we meet up with Sieg Hart once more. Sieg is an awesome character and I am glad we get to see him shine if only for a wee bit.

Hiro Mashima, Rave Master, vol. 21 (Tokyopop, 2003)

The climax of Haru and Lucia's battle at Star Vestige kicks this volume off, but the real story is the resurgence of Endless, whoe mission is to destroy time altogether. Seeing there's no way they can defeat him in straight combat, the crew retire to the nearest town to mull over their options. It's not the best volume of Rave Master, but if you've read this far, you'll likely see it as just a pothole in the series. ***

Hiro Mashima continues the series and continues some surprises and hot takes throughout this volume. Enter the character Endless! Now Endless (yes that’s the name) has a mission and that mission is to destroy time! This misguided enemy has the power to back it up too. While the volumes before this one seemed to roll, this one does not have that even flow to it, in my opinion. But that does not make this a bad volume, simply an “okay” volume that helps continue the story along. I felt a little bad for Haru…he truly is being dragged through the ringer!

Holy hell. Now this was an action packed volume. We had Lucia and Haru, Seig vs 1000 mages and the 9th form of the 10 powers 🗡. Everyone really showed there strength in this one. We also have a possible brother-in-law.
