Elijah is building a fort in the woods behind his new home when he is greeted by a strange girl named Iris. At first she helps him work, but she soon insists on a game of hide-and-seek. So Elijah searches and searches for Iris . . . until it begins to get dark. Just as he yells that he has to go home, Iris suddenly appears, angry about being left alone in the woods. It’s only the first troubling omen as Elijah grows more uncertain if he wants to spend time with his hide-and-seek friend. På svenska heter boken Hitta mig om du kan. Det är en fristående del i Rysliga serier. Gemensamt är att de är lättlästa tecknade serier med skräcktema.

Hitta mig om du kan föll inte riktig mig i smaken. Det är något med dialogen som inte riktigt funkade för mig, den kändes stel. Vi har köpt den här som gruppuppsättning för att jobba mot mellanstadieelever men jag tycker den är alldeles för lite läskig. En 10-åring klarar betydligt mer än detta om de gillar att bli rädda! Jag tänker att annars väljer man andra typer av böcker... Funkar nog bättre innehållsmässigt till en elev på lågstadiet.

Elias hittar ett gammalt hus i skogen. Han tänker laga det så att han kan använda det som koja. Där träffar han Iris. Iris beter sig lite konstigt och verkar besatt av att leka kurragömma. Det visar sig att Iris inte är den hon utger sig för att vara, hon är inte ens en människa...

This was a fun ghost story in graphic novel form. Perfect for readers looking for just a bit of creepiness. At the end of the book there is a fantastic section that encourages readers to take a closer look at the graphic novel and analyze some of the choices that the author and illustrator made. This is the first time I've seen this in a graphic novel, and I love it!

Short and spooky. Like an episode of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark. Wish it was longer.
