Rideshare Love: A SAMPLE

Rate this book

Growing up, I had never expected to end up married, educated, and with a blossoming career. Hell, honestly, I never expected to make it to the ripe, old age of twenty-seven, since the life expectancy of people with my past is very grim. Yet, with the angelic assistance of my husband, Irv, I made it to the stable life that I have now.

However, I can’t honestly say that I am truly happy. I am still very much the broken woman that I used to be. Its a daily fight to keep that broken woman motivated and focused on our goals. That became particularly hard the busier that my husband became. The more that I found myself alone in our home, the threat of my demons resurfacing became more imminent. To keep myself and my thoughts focused, I decided to become a rideshare driver. It was a necessity in order to control my demons.

Yet, one day, I picked up a passenger, Lyfe. When he climbed into my backseat, I had no idea of the impact he would have on my life. Our encounter turned my world on its ass and threatened the stability I had fought so hard to maintain.

Author of Urban Chick Lit, Erotica, and Contemporary Urban Fiction... Jessica N. Watkins was born April 1st in Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I had written about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins’ chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of women's literature. She hopes that The Epitome of Femistry series will successfully emulate ideal femininity while tackling stereotypes, familiar heartache, and relatable distress in a humorous, sophisticated, and erotic fashion.

One of the most eventful ride share stories I have ever read. Ocean did not know what she was getting into accepting Lyfes offer. Hate that Oceans day of excitement turned into a rude awakening. Ending definitely has you on edge and wanting more. Hopefully next installment will eventually make it to Kindle.

Check it out for yourself

Ocean lead a rough life early on and then she married Irv. While there were issues with her marriage she still planned to stay married, life has way of tempting you though. Ocean never knew that ride sharing would lead to the adventure of meeting Lyfe. But then everything isn't always as it seems and there are consequences to every action no matter how small. At times park felt the story moved just a wee bit too fast in how things and occupations were revealed but overall it was a decent read and I do want to know what happens next.

Outstanding

Ocean and Lyfe seems like a match made in Heaven. I applaud Ocean for turning her life around but detest her thinking that Irv's initial love for her binds him to forever. Lyfe taking care of his autistic brother and seeking to make him self reliant is beautiful. Yet, I despise him having no other aspirations for his life besides dying in the streets as a drug dealer. I've placed my order for the paperback version of this book. The snippet has hooked me but I pray the complete story is worth my money and time. Eagerly anticipating my delivery! Great start!
