He was the last thing Kagome expected to discover in the modern era... a youkai. When Kurama cannot turn his back on the loneliness in her eyes, she’s slowly drawn into his world... and he into hers. An InuYasha and YuYuHakusho crossover. [Kagome & Shuuichi Kurama/Youko]
Disclaimer:Affinity is an Inuyasha x YuYuHakusho fanfiction. I don’t profit from this story, but fandom friends can still get credit for reading it. ::twinkle:: Author’s Note: I suppose I was fascinated with the differences between a hanyou like Inuyasha, who is half of two things … and someone like Kurama, who is both two people and one person. As a reader, this account is where I rate and review manga.
This is a really sweet story about real love and sacrifice, about longing and belonging. But with enough action to keep us on our toes. The possibility of a relationship between Kurama and Kagome is rarely explored, and here is a bittersweet and utterly touching rendition.
This is such a touching story about healing and friendship. The parallels connecting the two stories are wonderfully done. I appreciate how, in the end, Kagome stays true to her heart.
