A decent phrasebook for the Arabic of the United Arab Emirates. (New readers: my rating system is a bell curve; most books merit between 2-3 stars.)
As a linguist and language teacher, I am grateful any time someone makes the effort to publish material for a dialect into English. The Emirates is one of the most important states in the Middle East, and the world needs to know more about the Emiratis. Hopefully more, and more refined, material is to come from the Ramsa Institute in the future.
