This and Family Is Everything (Disney Encanto) are basically the same book, which I thought was interesting. I think the first person point of view makes this more like the movie and engaging for readers.

This is a very simple telling of the Disney movie Encanto from Mirabel's point of view. She may not have an obvious magical gift like most of her family, but that doesn't mean that she can't still see and protect the family magic and their home.

yes I read another children's book and it's counting on my goodreads goal.

Anyway I love Encanto more than anything. I just. I'm gonna cry. I love Mirabel and relate too hard to her.

Mirabel discovers the truth about Encanto and finds Bruno. After hearing Bruno's prophecy she confronts Abuela and Encanto crumbles. The family rebuilds and Encanto is stronger now.
