My daughters loved the film and soundtrack of this film so my 3 year old in particular asks for this story to be read over and over again.
It is true to the films storyline/plot, and although you get a gist of the story there’s so much left to be enjoyed in the film.
I love how the writing introduces the story and that’s it’s written to be enjoyed as a stand alone story.

If you haven't watched the movie yet and you want to, don't read this book because it spoils the ending. But it is a nice story. I don't like when they make these Disney books and then market them at kids, though. Aren't the movies enough? Let books be books.

Family is Everything is an easy to read, abbreviated version of the movie Encanto. It’s accurate to the movie and is super fun for kids to read. The text is easy for young readers and the illustrations are so colorful and engaging. It’s a great choice for any kid who loves Encanto.

Really just an abbreviated version of the movie. I would rather have had a more focused story starring the same characters.

It’s cute. A young girl (about 4-7 years old) who’s reading or starting to read would probably enjoy it, especially if she loves Disney cartoon movies.

Hey everyone! Today, I want to tell you about an awesome book called "Family Is Everything," and it's all about this super cool movie called Disney's Encanto.

So, the story is about this amazing family called the Madrigals who live in the mountains of Colombia. And guess what? They have a magical house in a magical town in a super-duper special place called an Encanto. How cool is that?

Now, every kid in the Madrigal family has a super cool gift from the magic of the Encanto. Some can be super strong, and others can even heal people! But here's the thing – there's one girl named Mirabel who doesn't have a special power. She's just like you and me, no super-duper magic.

But wait, the story gets even more exciting! Mirabel finds out that the magic around the Encanto is in trouble. Uh-oh! And guess what? She thinks she can save the day, even though she's the only one without a special power. That's really brave!

This book is like a Step 2 Step into Reading, which means it's just right for kids like us who are around 4 to 6 years old. The words are not too tricky, and there are awesome pictures that show all the cool things happening in the movie.

I love how the book is about family and how important it is. The Madrigals show that even if you don't have super powers, you can still be super special. Mirabel is like the hero of her family, and that's really awesome.

And guess what? This book is based on a movie called Encanto! So, if you watch the movie and then read the book, it's like having a double dose of fun with the Madrigal family.

If you're ready to read on your own and you love stories about magic, family, and being brave, then "Family Is Everything" is the perfect book for you. Trust me, you're going to have a blast reading it!

Mirabel confronts her Abuela about the secrets she kept. They make up and magic returns to the Casita after they rebuild.

The story of the Disney movie, Encanto. I thought it was going to be a separate story with the characters, but this simple version is probably fun for learning readers who enjoy the movie.
