Love the detail on the lego illustrations. I enjoyed the combination of legos and “realistic” illustrations. The “best friend” vs. “true love” change made this more appropriate for the intended audience. The colorful text, using the same rhythm as the original song was great! I chuckled a few times. A good, unique holiday text to include in the classroom library.

I gave this a quick online read through my library app. I was considering buying it because I love decorating with seasonal lego. I’m glad i read it first because it is not a building ideas or instruction book. It’s cute though, I’d totally recommend it as a family read a loud. Of course i’m biased as an adult fan of lego.

Twelve days of Christmas as seen through Lego. This is a book that needs to be read aloud with more than one person. Even small children would enjoy it that way because of the song and the repetition.

My son really enjoyed listening to this book as we read to him at night. We loved the layout of each Lego scene throughout the book.
