Julianna and I took turns reading this book. She recognized some "snap" words. She says she lobed the book. Short cute early reader book.

‘Go, Go, Planes!’ by Jennifer Liberts, illustrated by Mike Yamada, is a Step into Reading book. With simple words, colorful images, and lots of rhyming, the story will easily invest readers in what is happening as they watch planes of all types do all sorts of actions. It also tells briefly of the types of items planes contain, such as engines, wings, and even the pilots who fly them!

The story, while short, conveys its point well, and will make readers, young and old alike, feel engaged in the beauty of flying. A great choice for emerging readers.

Sweet and simple. Explores different kinds of planes, including toys, and what it may be like to go on a plane trip. Adorable cartoony illustrations focus on a biracial family and also include a female pilot and grounds crew.

Too simple, I think, even for very little ones. But it's OK, kiddo loves airplanes in any variety.
