Vicious wildlife, dangerous men with ill intent, and brutal cold are just some of the potential threats Chris and the women will face on their long walk down the highway. But at least they have each other...A WARM PLACE contains intense survival, beautiful women, and scenes of violence.

Hello and welcome to my website!

I am Misty Vixen (not my real name obviously), and I imagine that if you’re reading this, you want to know a bit more about me.

In the beginning (late 2014), I was an erotica author. I wrote about sex, specifically about human men banging hot inhuman women. Monster girls, alien ladies, paranormal babes. It was a lot of fun, but as the years went on, I realized that I was actually striving to be a harem author. This didn’t truly occur to me until late 2019-early 2020. Once the realization fully hit, I began doing research on what it meant to be a harem author. I’m kind of a slow learner, so it’s taken me a bit to figure it all out.

That being said, I’m now a harem author!

Just about everything I write nowadays is harem fiction: one man in loving, romantic, highly sexual relationships with several women. Nowadays, I tend to write more human on human stuff, but I still have a lot of non-human ladies in mind for the future, so if that’s your thing then stick around.

I’d say beyond writing harems, I tend to have themes that I always explore in my fiction, and they encompass things like trust, communication, respect, honesty, dealing with emotional problems in a mature way…basically I like writing about functional and healthy relationships. Not every relationship is perfect, but I don’t really do drama unless the story actually calls for it. In total honesty, I hate drama. I hate people lying to each other and I hate needless rom-com BS plots that could have been solved by two characters having a two minute conversation.

Damn good book

How will the world end? Ice will suffice. A great look at a possible mother nature's revenge scenario. Damn good series so far.

Surprisingly good

Dystopia survivalist harem adult situations
Chris and both his traveling companions stumble across the cover figure, Elizabeth. A few editing issues, but not bad. The author is including the concerns I Have about sustainability with the disappearance of plants, and the mention of malnourished deer.

Definitely a harem with plenty of action. Long term, wondering what they will do when or if the women decide they want Chris to sire babies. Considering the super high tech male birth control, even a doctor might not be able to reverse it.

Wondered how the author was going to sustain the story, but I'm in. Buying the next book.

A smart take on an apocalypse harem

I like the way the Misty vixen writes the story is written as being believable and it also stops and makes you think about things that happen. The main character is a nice guy who has a hard time from other people who think otherwise. Big characters are interesting and I like the way the interact with each other. The erotic scenes are well written.

Stealth good, thoughtful, and even philosophical writing. Rich characters, with deep internal dialogues, featuring a guy who is 'not so smart' but thinks through every moment of action and adventure he participates in.
Yes, there is typical polyamory and sex here, sad post apocalyptic exposition, but our protagonists reveal deep insight into the human condition.

Buy it for the action, enjoy the sexual situations, but stay for the character of heroes.

Not bad at all.

This guy has to have the best luck ever. He has the ability to be both gentle and hard as he has to be. The story is just as well written as the others as that Misty has written. The only problem I have is that the interpersonal relationship scenes were a bit too long, a bit too descriptive, and hard to believe. I, even in my younger days, could only do two at the same time. Oh for the good old days.

The adventures continue.

Chris and his two cohorts continue to fight for survival. They meet a very pregnant Elizabeth. This changes the dynamic a bit but in a good way. They agree to help her reach her destination. Waylaid by wolves, four legged and two legged they struggle to reach Pine Lake.

Chris is a lucky guy

Thought when I started this series it would just be ok but I gotta to admit, it’s growing on me now and i’m looking forward to each sequel. A few mistakes here and there but editing is pretty good compared to some others.

I hate the cold but I love this series

This is my favorite series of mixture. The characters are much more developed, interesting and sexy. I hope it stays popular and she continues to produce more

Hot Story

Great author telling a hot post apocalypse story. The MC is well written, the ladies are developed. All the characters have growth. I look forward to seeing more of the series.

Entertaining Series

I thought book 2 improved over book 1, and expect to see more improvement in book 3. The storyline picked up and the characters back stories were further fleshed out. Overall, an entertaining read.

Strong story through line and the addition of pregnant female brings increased risks and costs. Narration is strong and the story is vibrant at places, and of course the work emphasizes the physical structure and nature, which is the purpose of the creation.

Uneventful and predictable.

Characters are bland in this one, just more of the same. Given the boring story, this is mediocre at best.

This is a good story along with some spiciness thrown in with good measure.

I really enjoy this series and plan on reading more from the author.

One heck of an apocalypse

When I die and go to another place. I wanna go where they are. This has been a fun read and fairly realistic besides. I’ve enjoyed so far.

Very Fine!

Only one thing missing, and that is Chris didn't get to have Megan in the ass.
So far there is more sex in this series than any I have ever read.

I picked this series up for free on Amazon. Although it looks like it contains very saucy content (and it does), I was intrigued by the positive comments about the main post-apocalyptic story. Global warming has covered the land with snow, and society has collapsed. This book begins with protagonist Chris reflecting on the events in the first book. He is somewhat troubled by his encounter with Tanner, resulting in nightmares. Just like the first book, the story takes a while to get going due to the sex scenes, delaying the group’s journey. When they do travel, they eventually come across a pregnant woman on the run from an abusive husband. She joins them on their travels, and the group are cautious that they might be pursued. Just like the first book, I did enjoy the survival/revenge part of the story, and it's still got the intrigue of where the story is going to go in the following books. However, I can still foresee them being repetitive if it doesn't emphasise the survival aspect.
