“The Lure of Air” is the second full-length installment in the “Natura Elementals” urban fantasy series by Sloane Calder, set in a world much like our own, ruled by the laws of nature and its elemental forces, in which the only difference lies in the embodiment of that elements into like-wise human beings, with elemental powers that enables them to manipulate the elements and balance the damage created by humans. Calder’s writing style is impeccable, rich, elaborated, and intelligent, but still

HOLY CRAP THIS WAS GOOD. I’m so happy with this book and the continuation of this series in the Natura world. The Lure of Air is the second book in the Natura Elementals and Calder and this world just keeps getting better.
Following the events from the first book, The Lure of Air introduces us to Graham Lennox, the new Natura continental president and “Fire Magnus.” Graham coming into power is met with some harsh realities, from dealing with residual Natura politics leftover from his grandfather ...more

I really really really enjoyed this book. I will admit that I am definitely a "judge a book by it's cover" kind of gal, ESPECIALLY when it comes to fantasy or paranormal books. If the cover isn't colorful and exciting, then I'm not going to read it. This cover is beautiful, which is what initially drew me to the series. This is the second full-length novel in the Natura Elementals series, and there are also two novellas. I do recommend, at the very least, reading the first full-length novel, and

“The Lure of Air (Natura Elementals 2)” was at first confusing for me. I was seriously thinking about giving up on this book in the first two chapters. I am glad I pushed on. With that said, this is not a standalone book. I think that readers will have to read, “The Call of Fire” and the other novellas before “The Lure of Air”. I felt like I walked in on the middle of something, but what I walked in on was something unique, suspenseful and entertaining. The story involved supernatural beings wit

I love this series! The outstanding world building is exceptional with supernatural beings tasked with healing the Earth's environmental damage. The world of Naturas (elemental beings of Fire, Air, Water and Earth) plus witches and other beings living among and hiding from humans is spectacular. This continues with the legacy of a powerful Natura family, the Lennoxs, with a new leader and tons of issues to resolve. Graham is fabulous as the super smart scholar thrust into the position of preside

He is a scientist, he has spent years trying to find a cure for the disease that is killing his brother. Unfortunately, his grandfather is dead, and Graham Lennox is expected to take his grandfather's place as the leader of the North American Natura. Astrid Bryne has been Graham's research assistant for a few years, and readily agrees to his request to join him at his southern headquarters. Astrid isn't exactly the person Graham thinks she is, she has a mission to save witches who have been kidn

Graham is a scientist and a very powerful Air and Fire Natura that has just become the President of their people because his grandfather has died and left the job to him. While Astrid and Graham continue his work Astrid strays from the original plans as their taboo romance is fraught with danger, intrigue, betrayal, lies, secrets, hea

I Love that this Book has continued where the first one left off. The connection between Graham and Astrid is so good. Just like the first book this one pulled me in from the first page. The connections between all of the characters is so deep and emotional that you can really feel the relationships. Can't wait to Read the next book.

The second book in the Natura Elementals series a well written story with a very good storyline, the story flowed smoothly across the pages. Graham Lennox is continent leader for the North American Natura but he is also trying to find a cure for his brother. His lab assistant Astrid Byrne is hiding the fact that she is a witch. This story has suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, secrets, lies, and romance. I want to read the next book, there is going to be a lot to deal with coming. I receive

Book 2 was a pleasant surprise, a bit different from what I thought it would be. The storyline had a bit of action, adventure, suspense, mystery and drama. The main characters were interesting, and they had depth. Their story pulled me in and kept me absorbed and entertained until the end. It was an entertaining and enjoyable read.
