Genetically Sensitive in Several Realms

What a fascinating book! I had never heard of the scientific concept of a “highly sensitive person” though the concept has been around for decades. Unlike the currently very popular concept of empaths—which is more subjectively determined, and of course, more narrowly defined—highly sensitive people are actually that way due to genetics, according to the author. She takes great pains to distinguish between highly sensitive people and empaths in an early chapter that defines precisely what a highly sensitive person is. I found it fascinating to read the multi-faceted traits and delve deeper into the subject. If you believe you have multiple sensitivities on physical, mental, behavioral, intellectual, and emotional levels, you might find this book to be an engaging and enlightening read.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

I give this book high marks!
I found this book captivating, well-written, with some very useful information. Being what the author calls an HSP could be a blessing or curse and to a high degree, it could perhaps cause mental problems. My son is very sensitive to certain things he funnels this into his remote viewing or writing. My son is very creative but also very detailed in his art. So I can see my son having some of the traits of an HSP. I found the book very interesting and I think parents should take a look at the book too. I would give this book high marks and I hope you check it out. If more people spent time understanding others and less on trying to cancel or bully on social media we would be so much better off. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

This concise book provides valuable insights into the behavior of HSPs--Highly Sensitive People. Even if a reader doesn't relate to all of the traits, resonance with some of them can provide deep and useful understanding.

This author needs an editor because the book was all over the place, highly repetitive, and littered with spelling and grammatical errors. A really unenjoyable read, and I finished feeling like I’d learned nothing and wasted my time. Thumbs down

Highly Sensitive People was an okay quick read. I am not sure what I was looking for when I saw the cover. Whatever it was, I did not find it within the book's pages. I didn't learn anything new. That was a small disappointment.

Me resulto extremadamente reiterativo y no me aporto ninguna información nueva.
claramente si alguien quisiera investigar sobre este rasgo , no le recomendaria este libro porque a mi criterio le falta un poco.
