Transformation and spirits, what an interesting combination. Add in 8 kingdoms ruled by dragons. You got a fine recipe for fanfiction. This was my first serial podcast. I was hooked after the first sentence. Such courage writing and being the voice actor! Gives me hope for my own endeavors. #IAWThoughts

20/10 recommend for anyone who likes to read LGBTQ books. The storyline is absolutely phenomenal and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Raythe's writing style loops and holds your interest tight.
If you like audio books, you can listen to this book on Spotify. Which I highly recommend cause then you get an even better feel for their personalities!
I also love the character growth. Not a lot of books have such a clear showing of growth but I definitely enjoy this ones.

I wasn't much into podcasts or anything over 40 eps but loved loved loveeeddd it when I heard it on Spotify and couldn't stop listening to it.. It completely became a new routine to me..
Waking up in the morning and start the podcast until i couldn't anymore and making sure to get into my bed early then usual so I could again start listening before going to bed 🤣🤣 I'm in fact listening to my 126th Chapter as I'm writing this review 🙈

I have been listening to this particular story for over a year and I love so many of the characters! I have read a few of Raythe’s stories and this one is my favorite so far! The book is full of twists and turns that I totally didn’t expect. It’s definitely an enjoyable read that I would recommend to any lgbt fantasy fiction lover.

I cannot begin to to express how underrated this is. I have started Dragon's reign quite some time ago already, at first I was stuck at around EP 90 or something, but now that I picked it up from the start again I don't know how I could have ever stopped.

It is so incredibly good written, the characters are amazingly worked out, the plot is clean and not once rough in my opinion and the character developement is just awesome.

It is easy to listen to on YouTube and I really recommend it to people who likes high fantasy/ just fantasy, LGBTQ+ people, a good plot (which also makes so much sense with time) and an amazing narrator.

All in all this rating does not even reach the 5/5 because it is way beyond, but goodreads had to settle for 5 maximum.

Insanely good plot, characterization, and romance. This book combined some of my favorite things: dragons, gay romance, fantasy adventure, and complex characters. The plot is incredible and engaging. Despite the many chapters, I never thought that the story grew boring or tedious. The relationship felt warm and natural between the two main characters, as well as between the characters and their dragons. I think my favorite part of this book was the overall feeling of hope and persistence in the face of uncertainty and adversity. At the end of the book, hope feels as much like a super power as any of the dragons' other abilities. That might seem cheesy, but that's how I feel. It was a pleasure to read and it's quickly become a favorite!

The love I feel for this book is unmeasurable. It's just so good and I totally fell in Love with Raythe after listening to it on YouTube.

I love the way the world is structured and that it is really gay. I love me some gay as shit.

Dragon's reign is a greate story to get lost in. The love is just rightly mixed with spice and conflict that it makes you giggle and curl up.

I don't understand the other reviews for the life of me, the dialogues in this are written like by a 13 year old in a creative writing class.. The world-building (and politics!) is actually great and very interesting over all but one of the MCs (Caden) is probably the most annoying, pathetic and uninteresting character I've read in a while. He has no ambition,the definition of a whining wallflower but everyone fusses around him.All side characters were far better and more interesting than him.

This had the potential to be an amazing book if Caden was more interesting or at least didn't have the personality of a wet towel who everyone adores and the dialogues were written less like bad fan fiction. Needs an editor, a lot of the scenes could've been cut out as they're just over explaining nothing important and are just made to be skipped over ,they're tedious and too wordy. So yeah, good idea and good world, bad execution and mc.

The romance has the feeling of when a MF author tries to write MM romance but writes one of the men exactly like a Mary Sue female MC, so it lands terribly.

Simplesmente perfeito.
Lembro de quando eu adicionei esse audiobook à minha biblioteca e enrolei meses pra começar, parecia uma farofa bem meia boca pela sinopse. A verdade é que o universo criado por Raythe é sensacional e te deixa imaginando várias possibilidades do que poderia acontecer nele. É rico e com muito potencial de expansão.
A história foi maravilhosa e envolvente desde o começo e conhecer cada um dos personagens foi magnífico. A mágica não fica somente com Valerius e Caden, mas cada um dos personagens tem muito a oferecer e isso sempre é um ponto forte em uma história. Além disso, a forma que Raythe narra a história torna tudo mil vezes melhor.
Para quem está a fim de ouvir uma história bacana eu recomendo demais.

I was just looking for lgbtq fantasy stories, and this was exactly what I was looking for. The story was so good, and I would definitely recommend it. I really wanted to see more of our main couple, and I was so sad it ended. I loved the world-building and the plotline of this story; it is definitely a recommendation. I listened to this last year, and I still can't believe that I will never get to hear of their adventures. It had such a good ending, though.

I listened to the author’s audio book (where she read it) and honestly i wish i could experience it all over again. This book is beautifully written. It’s hard to find a BL book that isn’t cringy and just creepy. THIS BOOK is just *chef kiss* there’s adventure, steamy times, DRAGONS HELLO?!?! It’s funny and sexy all at the same time. Honestly, do yourself a favor and just read/listen to this book ❤️
