The perfect culmination of a friends to lovers romance
Jayden and Nate have been best friends forever. Jayden at thirty finally came out. The coming out wasn't perfect but it was true to life. Nate comes to realize that he is bisexual and in love with Jayden. The romance isn't always easy but after some time to get over the immediacy of the situation causing the strain they can understand where the other person is coming from. And move on stronger for working out their problems. ...more

First time reading this new author for me, and it’s a sweet romance with some quick sex, steamy make out scenes with Nate and Jaden who have been friends for 20 years. But for me it’s has too much religion for me to stomach. I don’t mind the volunteer work for the community but I just don’t like reading religious books. I loved the best friends turned lovers & and M/M but the lost star was the religious parts.

Jaden and Nate have been friends since childhood-- but Jaden's gay, and the church that traumatized him during his childhood is the cornerstone of Nate's life, so Jaden keeps his sexuality, and his feelings for Nate, to himself. Until his thirtieth birthday, when he tells Nate he's gay, and Nate discovers that he himself might not be straight. I loved the connection between Nate and Jaden: they're a great example of opposites who not only attract, but work well together and bring out the best in

A great, enjoyable book of a pair of best friends who ends up as lovers
This story is told from two point of views. There are homophobic / transphobic characters but they are minor and only appear for a really short while. I enjoyed the flow of the story - not to fast, not to slow. I also enjoyed the change from being best friends to lovers as well as the fact that Nate did not stress to much when he realized he was bi. It was definitely a great story.
Spoilers ahead.

4.5 Stars...BF to Lover's/Bi-Sexual Awakening! I loved Jaden and Nate's story. Friend to Lovers and 1st time GFY. It's amazing how you never know you want someone till you almost lose them. Jaden and Nate are best friends and have a long history. Jaden finally comes out gay and Nate the ever best friend wants to help him find his true love. Jaden loves Nate and has always loved him decided to give someone else a chance seeing as Nate was straight. Jaden has some past hurts and issues that almost

Walking that in/out fine line. Jayden and Nate were long time good friends. When Jayden comes out, after suffering many years of personal conflict, Nate is supportive. Jordan was mired by conservative beliefs and his own insecurity. Jayden has been suppressing feelings for Nate, in what seems like forever! Nate is supportive in Jordan's pursuit of a relationship, until he started thinking. Exploring his feelings and how he feels toward Jordan's exploits draws the reader into his dilemma. Does Na

I can always count on Andrea Dalling for some truly lovable characters, and Jayden and Nate are no different. Both of these guys are absolutely adorable, and their story is engaging and emotional. I'll admit that so much of the story revolving around the church isn't something I typically pick up, but this author's books always leave me with a smile, and this one did as well. I did like that this story addresses both sides of the religion issue, the inclusive and the radical, and maybe even a li

I enjoyed this sweet friends-to-lovers/bi-awakening story. I couldn't help feeling for Jayden who has hidden who he is for years due to conservative parents and religion. Finally, he comes out to his best friend, Nate, I loved Nate's response. He is so supportive, and even plays a sort of wingman for Jayden, but what does it mean when he starts feeling jealous? I loved the sweet development of the romance. Will Jayden's parents and the church (which both Jayden and Nate belonged too at one time)

Jayden has not shared his very personal secret with anyone, preferring to remain in the closet rather than endure the ostracism he expects from the conservative community. He has been in love with Nate, his straight best friend, for half his life, afraid to say anything until he blurts out his secret.
Although the truth was unexpected and a surprise to Nate, Nate is willing to help Jayden find someone, yet he can’t explain his own discomfort at seeing Jayden with anyone else. It finally becomes ...more

**First Time Reader** Very nice. The friendship between Jaden and Nate was already tight so when Jaden let it be known that he was gay, it seem to bring the guys even closer. I love Nate and how he came to an understanding about his sexuality and his love for Jaden. Their romance was real sweet and like most relationship there always is a little disagreements here and there. With the guys, they always seem to be able to talk about it and work it out. This shows how tight their bond is. I really

20 years of friendship did not encourage Jayden to let Nate know that he is not only gay but crushing on his bestie. When he does finally blurt it out Nate offers to help Jayden find someone but that does not go so well and ultimately they wind up realizing that the feelings actually run in both directions. But are they ready to move from friends to lovers after so long and can they be out with how they feel, given the realities of their lives - Nate is active in his church. This is a couple mea

Angst all over the place!!!! At the beginning, Jayden's parents were a major turn off for me. I cringed everytime they were in the storyline. His mom must have lived under a rock of oblivion, and she didn't know her 30 year old son at all! Wth?? It was a little disappointing that Jayden sort of forced Nate and the pastor's hand to recognize the biases righr under their noses. I liked the compromises in thinking both Nate and Jayden made so they could build an open strong loving relationship toge

An engaging story that is pretty relevant today. Biases, prejudices and hurt feelings go a long way in alienating people. Jaden and Nate face some moments in this story that require their understanding of one another and the fact that people are human and fallible. Together they break through, heal old wounds and start their life together splendidly. The paths the story takes lead you on an interesting journey.

I always enjoy a bff to lovers romance. This one had its challenges. Nate and Jaden attended the same church as kids until something happened and Jaden never came back. When Jaden comes out to Nate, he is understanding and even helps with dates but then realizes he wants him for himself. Poor Jaden, he had it tough with his parents. The drama is low and lots of sweet moments. I enjoyed this holiday romance.

This book has one of my favourite tropes.... bi-awakening. Throw in bestfriends and I'm sold.
Snow-Melting Kisses is a fairly low angst read (for me), but it is full of feelings and emotions.
What I found refreshing is that Andrea Dalling did not shy away from how 'fire and brimstone' preaching affects the young men and women who are questioning their sexuality.
What I loved was Nate's quick acceptance of his best-friend's orientation and his attitude towards those who felt the need to voice their ...more

This book was out of this world stupendous. The characters were so good that I just wanted to cuddle them. The story was fantastic. It showed how love can change over a long period of time. I would highly recommend this book.

This was really great. Jayden and Nate have been best friends for 20 years. Jayden has kept to himself forever, and hasn't told anyone that he is gay. When he finally breaks down and decides to say something, Nate says he'll help him find a date, until Nate has to start figuring out why he is feeling jealous. Coming to terms with how their new relationship will affect their lifelong friendship is a challenge, but these guys are destined to be together. Nate is a volunteer coordinator for a churc
