Have you ever believed you’d one day cross paths with someone who would sweep you off your feet and offer you a life right out of a fairy tale? When you’ve spent your life hiding from monsters, it seems reasonable that you might cling to a magical, fabled romance. I did. I found it was easier to look for the positive, to remain hopeful, and to sometimes imagine a fantasy-worthy life. I’m not sure if I did it for my sanity or to keep my brother’s spirits up. You see, Ransom Bishop is not only my brother, he’s also the one who saved me from a life that would’ve ended badly, and in doing so, he gave up so much. Since the day he stole me away from the monsters when I was nine years old, Ransom has been mother, father, brother, and best friend, watching my back and protecting me from … them. For fifteen years, we thought we were safe and maybe we were. But then my brother helped a friend in need, and everything changed. They found us. Now it’s a matter of life or death, and there’s only one person my brother trusts, one man Ransom is willing to be indebted to in an effort to ensure nothing happens to me. Talon has agreed to take me in. Under one Ransom has to relocate with me, and he has to fake our deaths. Again. Little do I know, but Talon is going to change my perception, my ideals, and yes, he’s going to change my life. My name is Braelyn Bishop, and this is my fairy tale. This is the final book in the Office Intrigue series and it consists of two stories in one. This can be read as a standalone.

I didn't want this story to end, especially knowing it is the last book in the Office Intrigue Series.

When I finished Their Fairy Princess, I knew I wanted Talon's story next but what I didn't know was that it would be the last of the series. When I found out I was in a panic...why wouldn't Ransom get his story too? What I didn't know at first was that this story is not only Talon's but also Ransom's story as well.

This story opened my eyes to so many different types of relationships and I hope we see more of them in the near future...maybe in a spin-off series? I kid you not, this one went beyond what I am use to with BDSM Romances and I loved every minute of it.

Braelyn Bishop is Ransom's sister, did you know he had a sister? No one does with the exception of a couple of people so when he asks Talon to help her Talon tells him there is one stipulation, he has to disappear with her. Well, ladies and gentlemen that is because dear old Talon had an Ace up his sleeve that I did not see coming and man I'd love him just for that.

Owned is a unique story that can be read as a standalone but I believe readers of the series will feel more connected to the main characters because we have seen them in previous books. Owned must be read with an open mind, if you can do that dive in because I believe you will love this book as much as I did.

This book is meant for readers 17 and over due to explicit content.

Happy Reading!!!

Book 8 and the final book in the Office Intrigue series and the first that I have read. Let me just say, I will be going back and reading the rest of this series because this story was so awesome. You will actually get 2 stories in one and it was so well written and flowed perfectly. Loved Talon, Ransom and Braelyn. This read had everything – suspense, romance and of course steamy scenes that will set your kindle on fire. You will be pulled in from page one and it will stick with you well after you are finished. Loved this read and anything from this author. Highly recommend this read.

Owned might just be the best book Nicole Edwards has ever written. This story is about Talon and his dirty girl with scenes that will make your E reader melt. Ms. Edwards takes us back to the BDSM world and brings along some familiar faces from her past stories. Owned is the final book in her Office Intrigued series and it brings closure to everything you could possibly want. If I could make this a six star review I would.

This is the final book in the Office Intrigue I am so sad that this series is ending. I have fallen in love with so many characters in these books and now I am sure you along with me will love Braylen and Talon just as much as the other characters in this series. Braelyn was rescued by her Ransom when her life was at it's worst and Ransom is the one to rescue her. Now they have been found and need an escape and Talon is willing to take them to his private island where they will never ever be found. What they never expect is the world that they are about to discover on the island. It is certainly not what they were expecting. This book is filled with mystery and twist and turns and some moments that will certainly melt you kindle. You don't want to miss this book. I think it is my most favorite on in the series and that is hard to say because they have all been amazing.

4.5 Star Review Owned (Office Intrigue #8) by Nicole Edwards

The 8th and final book in the Office Intrigue series and it was a good book to end the series on. This is Talon, Braelyn and Ransom’s story and what steamy story it was.

We are back in the BDSM world and the scenes were intensely hot and it was good to see some familiar faces make an appearance. There was also mystery, intrigue and suspense as Ransom and Braelyn Bishop need to escape the bad guys which had me on the edge of my seat at times.

When Talon agrees to help them, it is the start of an adventure that no one expected. After escaping to Talon’s private island Ransom and Braelyn are introduced to a whole new world not only of BDSM, but voyeurism and a lifestyle beyond imagination.

There is certainly a lot going on in this book and as I have come to expect from Nicole Edwards, the writing was strong and the story had me invested from the first to the last chapter.

When I saw how many pages this book was, I groaned...but as I kept reading, I wished it wouldn't end and that this series wasn't over. I LOVED IT!!! It's different but I think will remain one of my favorite books by this author and that's saying a lot!

The epilogue was fantastic and tied everything up so great.

An epic ending to a fantastic series.
This story was spellbinding and addictive as hell.
I think I spent 24 hours straight reading. I couldn't put it down! I fell madly and deeply in love with every single one of the characters.

This book/series is just one of the reasons Nicole Edwards is at the top of my MUST BUY list.

While I know authors can often change their minds when characters speak to them, this is thought to be the last in the Office Intrigue series. Of course, it started out as a duet many books ago, so you never know. Although, I’d hazard a guess that some particular characters in this story will spin off into a whole new series sooner or later. This is all to say that Nicole Edwards did a fantastic job of wrapping this series up in a way that makes sense. We get to see the players that have been central to a good portion of the series get their HEAs.

Braelyn and Talon are meant to be together. From the first time they met a year ago, almost in passing, they had a connection. Talon has always been a bit of a mysterious presence in these tales. Actually, he’s still a bit of a mystery. A sexy, gorgeous, tough, kind-hearted, morally good mystery. Learning about him and his possessions was eye-opening and fascinating. Seeing Talon through Braelyn’s eyes and gaining the window into his life at the same time as her helped to ease me, as the reader, into that world. I could not get enough of these two. They’re both so attuned to one another, even when they barely know each other. On top of all of that, they are hot, hot, HOT!

We also get to watch a beautiful second chance romance between Ransom and Jasper. Seriously, I am all about Jasper. I can totally see how it broke Ransom’s heart when Jasper left. These two have a very tender and loving relationship, even with all the strife from their past. They just cannot help themselves, they’re so in love…while trying to pretend they are the past. As you can guess, there are quite a few things for this couple to work out in order to move forward. Sometimes they had me swooning, sometimes my heart ached.

These two couples, Talon & Braelyn and Jasper & Ransom, are the main focus of this story. But there is more going on all around them. Hence, my thoughts we haven’t seen the last of some of Talon’s friends and employees. There was plenty of chemistry to go around.

While I’m sad to see this series come to an end, I know this author likes to intertwine her characters and I’m sure we’ll be seeing many of them again. I enjoyed the atypical storylines we got throughout and the class and care the author took with alternative lifestyles.

Owned was absolutely the perfect book to end the Office Intrigue series. Nicole Edwards outdid herself with this massive story revolving around Talon and Braelyn and Ransom. As with the rest of this series this book can be read as a standalone but why not read the previous books because this entire series is one for the record books with the characters and story lines and the author's ability to make the reader look at a relationship that might be unc0nventional as one that is necessary and true.

While reading Owned you quickly become aware that this book is both Ransom and his sister Braelyn's story. Their stories are intertwined but definitely separate throughout this entire book. First we have Ransom, the older brother that is ever the protector of his sister. He has sacrificed and put her first for most of their lives, even at the detriment of his own relationships. He has to make very tough decisions for both of them that changes the course of both of their lives. But with any change there can be positives and Ransom finds out that he can make amends with someone from his past.

Now we come to Braelyn and Talon's story. Braelyn is young but grownup at the same time because of her life experiences. She is not one to let her circumstances get her down but adapts to her situations and learns to move forward. While Talon is older, a slight age-gap here, he is very well rooted in his lifestyle and those choices. But then Braelyn comes along and changes everything. Their relationship upends everything they both know and forces them to create something new and special. I love her strength and her ability to stand her ground throughout this book. Now let me say that Talon's lifestyle is not one I have read before and this author has made his lifestyle seem completely normal. I love how Ms. Edwards can take the most unconventional way of life and have her readers become so entranced by the character's way of life that there is not even a second thought. All of the characters have to make sacrifices and changes but that makes them the strong characters that they are and for a wonderful story to end this series. I do hope that this is not the absolute last time we see characters from this series.

I was given the opportunity to review Owned prior released date from Nicole Edwards.
First and foremost, I do not spoil contents as there is nothing worst than knowing the conclusion and tidbits. A description is always offered by an author.

Let’s start with the cover, Yes.... Hot, Hot, Hot. For me, a cover tells me a lot. Definitely was not disappointed, but also not what I expected. I am a fan of Nicole’s work and here I noticed a change in her writing. We read a lot about Doms/Masters - Submissive/Pets etc. A new terminology is brought forth here ‘possession’. For some readers, they will not appreciate this. For readers who are aware of ‘terminology’, you will appreciate the interactions.
I wanted to sponge read Owned, as I was drawn into the storyline from page 1. I had to pace myself as I didn’t want this to end. From my understanding, the Office Intrigue series has come to an end. This doesn’t mean that Nicole won’t be venturing the characters to other series. Crossover characters are becoming the norm where you are still connected, you have felt/laughed/indulged become emotional etc.
Back to Owned, the main characters - Ransom & Braelyn (siblings) have led an extremely hectic life. There is danger around every corner for them. A fight for survival. Talon, their saviour but so much more. The title ‘Owned’ revolves around Talon, cryptic, unfortunately so. I’m almost tempted to spoil, but would be disappointed for a reader to not form their own opinions.
Raunchy, Reunited, Debasing, Survival, Possessions - words to think about.

Overall, Owned will take you to new places. It will be an eye opener for some readers, be aware of terminology and read with an open mind. Each page just draws you in where you also constantly read about a character. This was well written and a page pleaser. If you have read the Office Intrigue series, this is a must to the collection. If you are willing to start, do read in order as stated, the characters do crossover in books.

Thank you to Nicole for giving me the opportunity to read Owned in advance. Definitely on the recommendation list.

When I started reading this book, I began to have doubts that I would like it. The feminist and social worker in me balked at referring to human beings as possessions, and I was feeling unsure that I could get past that. However, as one begins reading these love stories Nicole Edwards amazing skills at portraying this concept through the eyes of her characters helped me to understand to a much greater degree than I imagined. This book is/are love stories, telling the love stories of siblings Braelyn and Ransom Bishop and their heroes, Talon and Jasper Tate. In order to save the siblings from their past, they board a plane to Talon’s private island where the headquarters of Talon’s company, Owned, Inc is run. Owned, Inc runs a sort of alternative lifestyles dating app for people whose desire is to be the Possession of another and those who desire to own another person. It is represented as a fringe of the BDSM community and something that even Ransom, whose personal and professional lives are embedded in the BDSM community, struggles to understand completely. Braelyn’s exposure to BDSM is almost entirely from tales her brother has told and a failed relationship with a self-reported Dom she met online. Then she lands on this island where Possessions-in-training are seen throughout the resort, and the man she is drawn to has a total of seven of his own. Jasper and Ransom have unfinished business from when they parted almost decade earlier. As she always does, Nicole crafts their stories skillfully. Braelyn and Ransom become an integral part of this community both personally and professionally, both contributing substantially to changes in the way Owned, Inc does business as they work their way toward their own Happily Ever Afters. As I learned about Talon, his possessions and this community through Braelyn’s eyes, it no longer seemed a demeaning/human trafficker-like relationship between the possessions and their owners. It was clear that it was just another definition of love, and, as we like to say, Love is Love. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

4.5 Stars!! Wow!! What a conclusion to the Office Intrigue series. I have to admit that this series has not been my most favorite of Nicole Edwards, but oh, my oh, my, did she end this series absolutely perfectly. Owned was an absolute joyride of a roller coaster filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, and lots of intrigue, and yes, a whole lot of steaminess as only Nicole Edwards can write. You will not be able to put this one down once you begin it.

Owned tells the story of Ransom and Braelyn, a brother and sister, and their journey to their happily ever after, which after the life they have lived running from their mafia parents, they most certainly deserve. Ransom has protected his younger sister Braelyn from their parents since they were young, but now they present a new threat and these two are going to need much more help than just the two of them.

From the beginning of Owned we realize that Talon and Braelyn are meant to be together. The way he protects her from the very opening pages of the book until the last page, is just magical, and she allows him to protect her, but do not confuse Braelyn for a weak woman. She is strong and independent. These two were meant to be together. They bring out the best in each other.

And we also get Ransom's story, whose story we have been waiting for since the very beginning of the series! Ransom and Jasper are finally given their chance at real happiness once again, but, of course, there is much for the two of them to work through to in order to get there. It was great getting to see Ransom be vulnerable and to be able to heal from the broken heart Jasper left him with. And Jasper's willingness to allow Ransom to be able to heal. These two were just so in love and were absolutely perfect for each other.

If you are looking for a hot steamy romance, but one that requires an open mind, then Owned is the book for you. I absolutely loved it, and I esp. loved being able to reconnect with the entire Office Intrigue group. Bravo, Nicole Edwards, on ending this series with a bang.

OH my what a way to end a series. I absolutely loved reading this book. It gave me intrigue, a bit of suspense, a lot of wondering what is in store for these characters and a whole lot of HAWTNESSS..... Nicole once again you didn't disappoint and what a great book this is.

Finally we get Ransom's story and his re-connection with Jasper is so sweetly written that you can't help but feel happy when they finally get their happily ever after. Ransom is a a strong and intense character but he's also a great protector, as he has protected his sister Braelyn all her life, and to be able to see him be so vulnerable and allow for his broken heart to be healed so that he can fall back in love with Jasper again was just amazing. I am so glad that I got this story and you exceeded my expectations on Ransom's love story.

From the time you meet Braelyn and Talon you just knew that these two characters were just meant to be together. From their introduction you already felt it in your heart that their love story would be one for the ages. Talon's world is not a normal world and in order to be a part of it you have to be willing to be a little bit more untraditional. Talon is instantly drawn to Braelyn from the beginning and you just knew that in order to garner the interest of Talon Braelyn has to be a strong and independent woman. Their attraction just jumps right off the pages, and as their story progress you can't help but root for them. I truly enjoyed Braelyn's journey into Talon's world.

If you are looking for a series into a different world but still interested in a a love story with awesome happily ever afters then this is series for you. Be prepared to have an open mind, all the while never having to compromise on a well written story. Great job Nicole and looking forward to what you have in store for us readers in the future.

This has to be the most intense book Nicole Edwards has ever written. At times it took me out of my comfort zone but it's so well written and felt like so much research had gone into it to get the subject matter right I found myself truly engrossed. Although this book is BDSM it's a very specific type and I'm not sure what it's classed as but it's definitely not something I'd read about before. It's incredibly enlightening and although not something I'd usually read I found it fascinating. It's hardcore though so definitely not for the faint hearted, the physical actions not so much just the lifestyle.

I think you’re be hard pressed to find someone as delicious as Talon. He's got all the traits of an alpha male but as the story goes on you really get to see a softer side to him, mainly where Braelyn is concerned though. There's an element of detachment to him that she seems to soften.

Braelyn has had a tough life and has been sheltered and cared for by her brother Ransom. He's done his absolute best to protect her but it's absolutely the right time for her to be able to spread her wings. She needs to be able to understand and indulge in her own desires and up until this point in her life it just hasn't been possible.

The chemistry is intense between these two and it gets stronger and stronger as the story unfolds. It's a very unique dynamic. Braelyn has quite the learning curve ahead of her and so does Talon but for very different reasons. They seem to really get each other and the closer they become the more settled and complete they feel.

Ransoms story also unfolds throughout the book and is a nice distraction from the main story. Sometimes I find it annoying when the side characters have too much page time but this story is as much his as Braelyns. His dynamic is just as interesting and I loved Jasper.

It's a great final book for the series and I highly recommend it.

Completely enthralled.
That's how this book had me.
I mean, oh, my wow!

Mrs. Edwards has outdone herself this time with the uniqueness and unbridled, forbidden passion of this story. It was so debauched, yet sensual and romantic at the same time. A combination that only she can pull off so flawlessly. As much as I hate to see this series end, what a way to go out!!!

While I still can't fully wrap my mind around it all, I can admit it was hot AF to read. And I loved Braelyn's character. She was so loving and open-minded and accepted everyone for who they were. While I can't say I'd be down for all of Talon's proclivities, the reverence with which he treated Braelyn definitely had me swooning.

And Ransom's side of the story... I didn't see that coming! At all! But, oh, how I loved it! I'm sucker for that sort of thing, and I fell in love with Jasper's character! So hard! There was so much going on in this book, but I think their parts were my favorite.

This book may not be for everyone. It took me a bit to adjust to the dynamic of it all. But the underlying love stories are what kept me captive to every word written. And, I won't lie, my curiosity. Because I've never read anything like this before!

Be prepared to be turned on. Be prepared to be pushed out of your comfort zone. But most of all, be prepared to fall in love with the remaining characters of the sensual world this author has created with her Office Intrigue series.

I requested an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it.

Gay/Bisexual/Ménage: When I started this series, I wasn’t sure about the genre because it’s outside my comfort zone. This is (probably) not a book where you will relate to the book’s characters and see yourself in their world, but you need to read it anyway. If you’ve read the Office Intrigue series, this is a must-read. Nicole outdid herself with this final book, Talon’s, Braelyn’s, and Ransom’s stories.
It doesn’t matter whether the characters are M/M, M/M/F, or other. I feel these books opened my eyes on the “love is love” concept. The characters help me understand the varied ways people love and I appreciate reading a different type of romance novel.
This book starts with some heart-stopping Chicago mob action. Ransom and Braelyn need an escape and Talon steps up to whisk them to his private island. It’s there that we learn what it means to be Owned. It’s an eye-opener for Braelyn and Ransom as they encounter a lifestyle that goes beyond the BDSM and ménage that Nicole introduced in earlier books. The sex is hot, often, varied, public, extremely well described, and very rarely between two people. Get ready because this one is going to make you think and do a lot of visualizing. If you’re like me, you’re going to ask Google a lot of “What does ‘this’ look like?”; “Explain what ‘that’ involves”. I’m looking forward to what kinds of targeted ads I’ll be seeing as a result of everything I looked up.
Buy. This. Book. (I’m not a dominant, but do it anyway.)

OMG I am going to miss this series! Every book is a hot sexy read and Owned did not disappoint me as I loved it!
Ransom and Braelyn are brother and sister and are children of horrible parents that are into every awful crime you can think of. Ransom is eleven years older than his sister and has always taken care of her. Especially now that their parents are giving her to a monster of a man to do with her as he pleases, she is only nine. Ransom takes his sister and runs and 15 years later they are still hiding from their parents and the crime family they left behind.
Talon is a very wealthy and powerful man. Knowing that he is also very good at solving problems, Ransom goes to his friend for help. Braelyn and Ransom need to disappear and Talon is the one to make that happen.
Talon takes them to his private island where he runs his business, Owned. Ransom has been a dominant for years and is very aware of the debauchery he is witnessing there. Braelyn is submissive and knows a lot about the lifestyle, but has never encountered people being owned?
Talon refers to the people he is training to be owned as "Possessions"
Braelyn finds herself deeply drawn to Talon like no other man she has ever been with and Talon finds himself in a position he has never been in his life. He owns many possessions but has never had a relationship before, ever.
LOVE the story, characters, the crazy sex scenes all of it! Could not put it down. Great read!!

Owned - Office Intrigue series

This is the last book of this series and it is hot, sexy and a truly great story. Actually, there are two stories in this book. Braelyn & Ransom Bishop are two siblings on the run. Because of a favour that Ransom did for a friend, their identities are discovered. Braelyn is attacked and the siblings must fake their deaths and disappear again. Ransom asked his friend Talon for a favour and Talon takes the siblings to hide at his home on Sapphire island.

Sapphire island is more than just Talon’s home, it is a resort where people go to fulfil their needs in a specialized BDSM world.

On the island Ransom discovers that Jasper, the only man he has ever loved works as a doctor there. This is a second chance romance that is loving and endearing.

Braelyn discovers that Talon and the island makes her feel safe for the first time in her life. Braelyn easily accepts Talon and his lifestyle within the BDSM world. The sex is hot and the romance exciting. Talon is honest and passionate man whose world has now become complete with Braelyn in his life.

Characters from the other 7 books in the Office Intrigue series join in the conclusion and gives the book a heartwarming and satisfying conclusion to the series. I loved this book and it is another great story by Nicole Edwards!

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

Owned is the final book in the Office Intrigue series and what an amazing finish it was. This book was actually two HEA’s in one book revolving around helping Ransom & Braelyn leave their past behind once and for all. What very few people knew was that Ransom was hiding in plain sight from his past and that he took his sister with him when he left. That past has caught up to them so Ransom goes to Talon for help. Talon agrees to help and takes them to his private island while they put together a plan to free Ransom & Braelyn for good. Talon’s island is not what either of them expect and they realize it is the perfect place for them to figure out who they are and what they want. On the island with Ransom is the one person he never thought he would see again but has never stopped thinking about. Talon has been attracted to Braelyn since he met her over a year before and now that they are on the island together she can see exactly who he is and if they have any chance at making it work. I love that we get to see and hear from some of the past characters in the series. It shows just how much of a family this group consider themselves to be and how willing they are to do whatever is necessary to help each other. I know this is the last book in the series but I do hope we will see more of these wonderful characters in the future.

Super hot, but some parts were too much for me

No cliffhanger
Standalone though part of a larger series
Told from 4 POVs
2 stories in one
M/f, m/m, m/m/m, group, etc.

I absolutely love this author so I tend to buy all her books, even if I know they are close to the edge, or ever past what I actually enjoy reading about. This was one of those books. It was 1000% hot, but the fact it was centered around “possessions” was a little too much for me.

I won’t go into too much detail because I don’t want to give too much away but this book is far beyond BDSM.

This book revolves around Brealyn and her brother Ransome. Both of them have had to look over their shoulders for most of their lives and when their past gets too close again they have to run.

That’s where Talon and Jasper come in. Talon is an enigma. Somewhat of a loner but also a billionaire with his own island. It’s what happens on that island that this book revolves around and Jasper works for Talon.

This book is filled with intimate moments, some with up to 11 people at one time. Strap in because this book is definitely a wild ride.

Beneath it all though there is a very sweet love story. Which is where I tried to focus. The main story is Brealyn and Talon, with Ransome and Jasper being a smaller love story, but still just as beautiful at its core.

Totally intriguing

This will not be to everyone's taste, however if you are brave this will be a story for the ages.

While keeping your mind open, Nicole does an exceptional job in giving characters a depth that make you understand or at least, appreciate their particular proclivity.
"I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but looking at him was the equivalent of feasting on the richest, most decadent chocolate and knowing you wouldn’t gain an ounce of weight. Unbelievable and addicting."

Running from danger, Braelyn and her brother Ransom lands on Talon's decadent fantasy island. While the story is a two for one, with Ransom also getting his HEA, it is the sweet progression of the relationship between Talon and Braelyn that captures the reader' attention. Both learning more of themselves and evolving. I loved the dynamic between Talon, Braelyn and the possessions.

The story is sensual and decadent but each scene gives the reader a glimpse into the psyche of our characters. This left me enthralled.

Who would not want to be treated as a Queen?

Ransom and Braelyn are siblings who have been on the run from their parents for over a decade. Ransom has protected his little sister and always wants what is best for her even if it seems like overkill at times. When the past begins to catch up with them Ransom asks Talon for his help protecting his sister. Talon agrees but it brings a blast from the past back into Ransoms life in the form of doctor Jasper. Fate has reunited them, could it be second times the charm?

Braelyn is a programmer who loves her overbearing brother even though he has helped contribute to her loosing her job. When she needs to run she comes face to face with Talon who catches her attention immediately, all the sparks fly. Are they meant to be?

This is a love story between Ransom and Jasper, as well as Braelyn and Talon. Though the siblings relationship is a love story in it's own right, I could read about their dynamic forever.

I'll be honest that it took me a while to get my head around the aspect of possession because it was such a foreign concept to me. However once I got through it I devoured the rest of the book which is two books for the price of one.

You know a book is good when you don't want it to end, I can't wait to read what Nicole writes next!

Wow - I didn't know what to expect from this final installment of the Office Intrigue series, but Nicole Edwards managed to blow my mind as she dove into this complex realm of BDSM - human possession - in a way that only she can.

We finally get the intersecting stories for Ransom and Talon! Ransom and his sister, Braelyn have been hiding in plain sight when their past catches up with them, putting their lives in jeopardy. Ransom turns to mysterious billionaire Talon for help protecting his sister on his private island. Ransom and Braelyn are pulled into Talon's world of human ownership. This story isn't for the faint of heart or closed-minded. This topic may be a trigger for some readers, however, this is NOT about human trafficking or forced slavery. This is about consensual ownership. Nicole Edwards masterfully navigates the topic in a way that only she can. This book is delivered with emotional bonds, romance and of course, lots of steamy sex!

Owned is the final installment of the Office Intrigue collection from Nicole Edwards. If you haven't read the other books, you might want to get into this fun series so you can go along for the wild, naughty ride!

Admittedly, I struggled when I started reading this. Not the consensual, various aspects of BDSM. This is what this series is. No spoilers, but I just struggled with some of the wording. Personally, it just didn't feel right, and I believed it could have been replaced, or even removed altogether, and the story wouldn't be affected in the slightest. But, I persevered, and I'm happy to say I finished the storym and was able to enjoy it. Under all the extras, this is a story about love, and there was quite a bit of that to go around. Needless to say, there's a lot going on. So much heat throughout this book. I swear, I think this is the most from all the books in this series. And I loved it all!

Talon and Braelyn were wonderful together, and they both brought out things I think the other didn't really know they wanted and needed. They made each other better people. The same with Ranson and Jasper. No spoilers, but both their stories are so heartwarming.

This was a good ending to a great series. It was good to see characters from the previous books in this series. And a few surprises I really enjoyed.

Wow! Talk about finishing a series off on a high note! At its core this is a story about people who are looking to be accepted the way they are yet are still hoping to find that one person to love and be loved by who will own them heart, body and soul and vice versa. That is what Talon and Braelynn become for each other. Theirs may not be every person's idea of a typical fairy tale relationship, but hey it is what definitely works for them. Talon is who he is and totally unapologetic about his tastes, as he should be, but he wants Braelynn so much and hopes she can live with it. Braelyn's brother Ransom also finally gets his own HEA and that is a great parallel story happening. Love is love is love. This book is chock full of sexy times. I mean so much and with many different people, incredibly erotic. There is so much heat, passion and steam in this story it's no wonder my Kindle didn't melt. But if there is one author who can pull this off with fantastic and lovable characters and intriguing stories to back up all that serious heat, it's Nicole Edwards.

4.5 Stars for Owned ( Office Intrigue Book 8)
Owned is the final book in the Office Intrigue Series and Talon, Braelyn and Ransom’s story is the perfect finale to this series. As always this author does a great job when she takes us to her steamy, intensely hot world of BDSM but in this story there is also some mystery and suspense which will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat throughout this read. Random and Braelyn Bishop need help getting away from the bad guys pursuing them and it’s Talon they turn to for help and when he agrees things really start to heat up in more ways than one.....
If you are looking for a seriously steamy read with the perfect mix of love, mystery and suspense look no further than Owned . Ms Edwards knows how to give us books that leave us swooning and fanning ourself and this is the perfect story to bring this series to an end on. This story intrigued me and as I have come to expect from this author we got strong minded characters with a hot tale to tell.

I have always heard the saying "Save the best for last". And author Nicole Edwards most defiantly saved up and gave us the readers the best of the best of the Office Intrigue series in the last book of the series in Owned. As soon as I started reading this book I knew it was going to be one of those books that I would not be able to put down until I read it from cover to cover. And that is the gospel truth. I opened it up and started reading and ate, didn't sleep or do much of anything else until I had Braelyn, Ransom, Talson, and Jasper put to bed. We discover all the reasons for Ransom Bishop's weird ways in the past see why he is so controlling about his sister.
Keep an open mind with this book going in and you will enjoy all the twists and turns our author takes us on. There are several storylines mixed and mingled together inside this one book that makes Owned a wonderful read. We get to catch up with a few characters that we love from past series as well, so be prepared to say HELLO to them too.

Ransom and Braelyn Bishop are in hiding due to their lives, more specifically Braelyn's life, being in danger. This book is really about Braelyn and Talon's relationship and also about Ransom and Jasper's story. This is the last book in the Office Intrigue series and I think it might have been my favorite. I really connected with all of the characters and it was SO HOT! This book has both M/F and M/M, which doesn't bother me, but if you are sensitive to M/M, be warned as there is plenty of it. The relationship between Braelyn and Talon is a bit more than just a one-on-one relationship since Talon has several posessions that he has interludes with as well. This does have a HEA and nicely ties up the series.

I definitely will miss this series! I liked how we got a glimpse at some other characters as I just can't seem to let go of any of the other characters from older series that Nicole has written. I am a huge fan of Nicole Edwards and am looking forward to seeing what she has coming out next.

This booked really OWNED me from the very beginning! This story revolves around Braelyn and Talon as well as her brother Ransom. I cannot begin to say how excited I was to finally see Ransom get his story. I have gotten pieces of him through several other books in the series and it was well worth worth the wait for him to get his happily ever after. From the horror of their childhood to the fight to stay off the radar Braelyn and Ransom Bishop needed help and that came in the form of Talon. Talon leads a very interesting life and is looking for someone exactly like Braelyn to complete him. He had many secrets though including his business as well as his lifestyle. Can he open up enough to get his happily ever after? This book has all the feels as well as some of the hottest moments from any book I have ever read. I cannot recommend this book enough it was probably one of my absolute favorites from the series. I absolutely cannot wait to see what else Nicole Edwards had in store next!!

I was given a copy of Owned to read and asked to give my honest opinion about the book and OMG I cannot even begin to tell you how good this book is. I found the beginning to be long and drawn out until i got deeper into the book it was needed to give the characters who they were(sometimes you dont get the whole story and this was needed to understand who they were and why they did what they did). I was so surprised at the kink that is out there and of course this kink was out of this world. How does Nicole come up with this I know lots of and lots of research. I loved how easy this was to understand and yes, I did have a knee jerk reaction and then started to see that each person has their own life and needs and this was something Nicole explained very well through each character. I love how Nicole gets you to connect with each character she creates. I loved Braelyn and Ransom they both were easy to love and had the best story to fall in love too. You will enjoy Owned it was so good enough love story, kink and HEA that we all need in a good book.
