This book was my supplementary read while studying for a course in liquids and molecular dynamics simulations. Hence, I only went through the parts that dealt with molecular dynamics. I was pleasantly surprised by what I've read.
There exists a myriad of books on computer modeling/simulations, and everyone can find something for him/herself. But the selection process can be quite time-consuming, and students often don't have time to pick supplementary reads while an exam is looming in the near future. I happened to find this book, and I must say, it was quite good. The part on statistical physics of liquids was a good, concise summary. The chapter on molecular dynamics was also good; not as detailed as in Hansen, but good as a quick read. And that's what's good about this book - it's a light, quick read (as it can be, regarding the subject), best suited for people who have an exam soon, and who need to learn as much as they can, without complicating it, in a short amount of time.

Although this book covers almost all topics from molecular modelling, and has some insides to physics and math along with simple calculation examples I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. Despite of easy language and seemingly all necessary material, the book doesn't give deep understanding. Topics and examples are placed quite chaotically and not consequently.
