Cat Ellington is an American songwriter/composer, casting director, poet, author, memoirist, literary researcher, voice-over actress, and entrepreneur from Chicago, IL., best known for her extensive contributions to music, film, and literature.

The published bibliography of the prolific multidisciplinary artist includes the Reviews by Cat Ellington series, The Making of Dual Mania, More Imaginative Than Ordinary Speech, Memoirs in Gogyohka, You Can Quote Me On That, The Unique Critique Trilogies series, The Arts series, and The Cat Ellington Sheet Music Collection, among others. Ellington's credentials—in film and music—include her work as executive casting director on the psychological thriller Dual Mania and its corresponding soundtrack, Dual Mania (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)—on which she wrote five original songs: The Book of Us, I'm Still in Love, Something in Your Eyes, Gett Out, and I Do. Incidentally, Ellington also co-composed Instrumentals: Music from the Motion Picture Dual Mania, a compilation of her original instrumental music previously performed with vocals for the film soundtrack.

The award-winning artist enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking, collecting vintage and modern charm bracelets, watching movies and classic TV shows, sailing, jet-skiing, playing tennis, and eating frozen yogurt — lots of it.

I enjoy reading reviews because they sometimes offer tantalizing insight into literary works of great authors. This collection of reviews by author, Cat Ellington, offers a delectable and rich variety of entertaining, and occasional glimpses of thoughtful mediation on life, death and compassion. I have yet to come across anything similar to this book, but I would strongly recommend it to those who are interested in exploring the human condition.
