You Know it's Love
Will her heart follow the rules?
I have three rules for dating:
1. Always be my best self
2. Don’t put out too soon
3. Stay the hell away from anyone like my ex-husband—including liars, cheaters, guys with more looks than substance, and (especially important) bartenders
Everyone says you “just know” when you meet the one, but the only thing I know is New Yor...more
I read the first book in this series, Love In The City, and I really liked it (I rated it 4 stars). So I was excited to read the next book, YOU KNOW IT'S LOVE, by Jen Morris. And, people, I looooovvvve this book!!!
Kat was a totally relatable female lead. We see her struggle to trust again after a series of betrayals and I loved that even as the reader wants to shake some sense into her, we also know exactly where she is coming from. You c ...more
if you read love in the city (which i strongly recommend), you already know cat. she’s the owner of a small shop of vintage clothes, though what she really wants to do is selling her own designs. however, she’s been burnt by lots of people around her, and she’s now struggling to trust new people and sometimes, herself. myles is the new bartender at her brother’s bar. he’s flirty, cocky and too handsome for her own good. but he’s no ...more

The little I knew of Cat from the first book, I found her to be quite a closed book with huge walls around her for extra security, she may as well also hang up a sign ‘No dodgy dates or bartenders welcome’ but reading her own story has completely changed my mind on her. She’s warm, loy ...more

I may have forgotten that this was book 2 of this series so I went and binge read the first book in one sitting yesterday and then immediately dove into this book today and finished it within the day and wow, I've never been so happy to have gotten an ARC because I don't think I would've been to wait that long if I had read the first book and not have the second one in my hands already.

I was sent an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I do love a book set in New York and this book, the second in the Love in the City series, was just fab!
It was great to catch up with Cat, Alex, Michael and Geoff and to meet the gorgeous Myles!
This book focuses on Cat’s story. She’s been deeply hurt by her cheating ex-husband and has made a promise to herself to never date anyone like him, especially bartenders. Imagine her walking into her brother’s bar and meetin ...more
Okay everyone... I have a new favorite romance author and her name is Jen Morris!! Was it possible to love this book more than the first in the series?! I didn’t think so, but here we are. INDIE AUTHORS GO HARD.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series 'Love in the City and did worry that this wouldn't live up to my expectations, oh boy was I wrong!

Myles is definitely book boyfriend material. He was such a loving and awesome character to read. He was so patient, kind and all round awesome. I need a Myles in my life.

I truly loved this book. Cat’s character is flawed in such relatable ways and I loved seeing her grow throughout the novel. Every. Freaking. Word. That’s it’s, that’s my review... jokes! Seriously, the story of Cat and Myles and their glorious journey from friends to a hell of a lot more, was one that kept me hooked until the very last full stop. Such a great book! It has a little bit of everything in it - it’s funny, sweet, steamy, inspiring, and dramatic. I laughed; I swooned; I got frustrated; I cried; and I smiled as I really enjoyed it!

You Know It’s Love is the follow up to last year’s Love in the City. This time we return to New York to follow Cat and Myles. I think surprising would be the best word to encompass my feelings about this book.

This book was perfection! Cat is strong and has a take-no-prisoners attitude, but she’s lost a lot of herself after a messy divorce. When she meets bartender Myles, sparks fly instantly but her baggage from her ex holds her back from acting on the attraction.
