This book is a good 2nd or 3rd book to read when getting into exercise programming. By being a higher level look at volume, it has a ton of widely applicable information but unless you already have an idea on how to specifically plan a program, the value of the information could be lost.
The addition of a large list of sources and further reading is excellent.
