James Hunt's passion for writing began at an early age. While his journal of yesteryear may never be the work of great fiction, he's been working hard every day since then to bring pages to life. James has well over a decade of writing under his belt, but his professional career in literature didn't take off until 2014.
James currently lives in Orlando, FL and when he's not pounding away at the keyboard you can find him at the theater or somewhere outside enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
I must say this not a story about hauntings, well you get a tiny bet at the end. You get to here the main characters problems. There more like detectives the paranormal
I absolutely loved this story! Having a great blend of murder mystery, haunting, and characters who were likeable, flaws and all, it made for an easy read. At times, I was hesitant to put the story down, the flow was just so good. While the mystery side of the story leans far more towards the paranormal aspects, overall it was a good read and I certainly would be happy to read more stories by this author. With no adult content in it, I believe this book would be suitable for readers from teenagers to adults.
This book is definitely a nightmare maker and not my cup of tea. The author certainly gives powers to ghosts that I, an avid reader for over 60 years, have never heard of before. Since when can a ghost control someone's mind to the point of making them kill either themselves or someone else? There is no mention of the ghost having been a witch in life, nor is it deemed a demon, but is, in fact, a very ordinary ghost, of what I consider, to have been a depraved, sadistic woman. Additionally, after being told that a ghost cannot, itself, harm a living person, does this ghost seem to be able to cast the illusion of being Mike and then proceeds to attack Lindsy with a knife. Now that is rather contradictory. And, at the end, when the ghost is finally being sent to the afterlife, which I consider to mean, in her case, the furthermost corner of hell, looks for forgiveness from her children, who she has tortured throughout their lives. Add to this the fact that it has been instrumental in the deaths of 13 people, I think the idea of forgiveness is ludicrous. I am afraid that this author did not leave me wanting more, but, in fact, left me with the intent of never reading another of his books ever again.
Read paranormal books. But it sounded interesting. The h was able to see and talk to ghosts and to read some people's minds. I prefer having the ghost be a little more amicable. Helping to find its killer. In this story, there wasn't very much interaction between the humans and the ghost. She (ghost) was very angry and violent. The story was okay but somewhat slow. Took too long between when Lindsy and Mike found any information and when any action took place. I'm glad I read this book but I doubt I will read another. Everything I wrote was my own personal opinion. Thank you James for having your books in Kindle Unlimited.
Is Bowlby Estate really haunted? It has a history of people committing suicide inside but when one man is murdered there his father must find closure. He contacts Lindsy and Mike, known ghost chasers, and pleads with them to find out who killed his son. The story that unfolds after they say yes is filled with missteps, dead ends and lots of surprises. Did the ghost kill his son or is there a living person behind it? Read this enjoyable novel and find out yourself.
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Seriously. I Really enjoyed this book. which is why I am still up at 2:30 in the morning writing this review....I could not put this book down. Not your average ghost Hunter novel and not to be missed. This story has it all. But don't read it around bedtime or you will have a short night. OMG....The a!arm is not far off. Night all.

Yes, I was supposed to clean my house today but I read this book instead. It was a whole tissue box story.I truly enjoyed it. The characters were spot on, the scenes were right before me., I was able to hear the people talking. When an author brings a book to life for me and makes me cry that hard it is well worth reading! Cleaning be damned!
While a pretty good story, the large number of proofreading errors is a big turn off for me; wrong pronouns, missing words, wrong words, grammatical errors, and the list goes on. I know some people can ignore the errors, I am not one of them. The errors caused my low rating, without them this would be a three or four.
I like a good haunting and this author gives it to us readers. It has a mystery to it that has you also wondering and searching for answers. Thing is there is a time factor and the one we follow has to hurry. Anticipation high in this as the pages turn.
Power, riches, secrets and evil make for a very interesting story of a haunted house. The narcissistic ghost and her family relationships are described in detail and make this a book that is almost impossible to put down.
. Quick read. Quick light enjoyable.Young adult reading, not a lot of thinking required escape for an afternoon. I'm not sure of the morals portrayed, but even taken as fiction its bad for those who don't have a good base in their faith
This was a really well written book. It kept my interest from.beginning to end. The suspense was great. A different type of haunting. Thank you for giving me and others the wonderful leisure time by writing this book
I guess because more of Lindsy is fleshed out. Of course there are still battles with a ghost wound into the backstory, but it is Lindsy who really did it for me.
People should learn to write a sentence, know something of word usage, and a few other basics before publishing a rough draft. I won't finish reading this boring rough draft manuscript.
