I'm in love with this new series. Just when I think I've had it with something, it gets completely revitalized. I love it.

So, this new series is about a girl who can't shift ... caught in between. She gets completely rejected and her heart broken. Then she sets out to prove her worth. Sound familiar? It's not what you think. Yep, that's where the fun begins. She gets caught up in some new drama and now I'm addicted to a new series. Just like that.

This new pack... I don't even know what they are

Tbis was an excellent start to a new series.

Quinn lives a difficult life in her pack, as she's a half breed Lycan and her human side is more dominant, meaning she can't shift. She is seen a second class citizen by her pack, but she's worked hard to train and try establish herself as an enforcer to make up for her perceived deficiencies.

When she unexpectedly inherits a house in a different pack land, one that is rumoured to not let other shifters in, she is manipulated by her pack to go to he

Amazing start to a new series

OMG Debbie Cassidy has done it again, built a world that I can't get enough of. I'm on the edge of my seat, I have so many questions. Most importantly, when's book two?

This is a slow burn RH with a rejected mate element.

Quinn is a hybrid a Lucan / Human who has always been treated like she is less than, she's worked hard to become strong to make up for any perceived weaknesses to be good enough for her pack. She works hard as an enforcer doing everything she can to g

As soon as I saw a new series coming from Debbie Cassidy I was on board without even knowing the premise- that is how good she is! The storytelling is amazing and it flows so well across the page. You are drawn in right from the start and you will not want to put the book down- and you are left needing the next book immediately!

Quinn is a hybrid, she is a Lycan/Human and has always been treated like she is a lesser member of the pack- more human than wolf. She is unable to shift but she maintain

Just when you think that this author would have run out of idea's she creates yet another unique world with a unique breed of shifter never yet seen and even in book one sets herself up with not one but two spin off series as we start the book with three best friends who sign a blood pact to always bee there for each other. Quinn the half Lycan who cant shift, Nix the demon blood with hardly any powers & Orina who is from a mystical hunter bloodline.

Honestly, what is even going on in this book. And I mean that in a good way. There is so much to unpack in this book, and I have so many questions. Quinn is a hybrid shifter, she has some of the perks of being a shifter but she can't actually shift. And that's put her pretty low down in the pack, but it's okay cause she's mated to the Alpha's son. Well, until she isn't. Everything is ripped away from her, but a mysterious letter could be her one way to get everything back.

She heads to Hawthorne

Quinn is half human half lycan. She never felt like she belonged to her pack, especially after her mate rejects her. Given the opportunity to raise ranks, she accepts to steal an artefact that should give her clan power. The only problem is that it's in a city where lycan cannot enter. Thanks to her half human nature, she can pass the city's barrier with her human friend Tate, and together they find new supernatural creatures and dive into the mystery that seem to surround the city.

This book is a great start to a new series – Wolves of Hawthorne Cove. You can tell from the start it is going to be a mashup of excitement, danger, suspense, action, and will have many twists and turns. In this first book alone, we’re led down many different paths with intriguing scenarios that definitely leave you wanting more.

Quinn is a half-breed Lycan who cannot shift and she’s had a hard life in her pack because of it. She’s done everything she can think of to prove herself; including beco

I had been looking forward to this book. I’ve recently enjoyed The Thirteenth Sign series by the same author and the teaser made this book seem interesting. A shifter who can’t shift and has to find her place in the paraworld, yep, I wanted to read more about that. Sadly, the fmc here is a dud.

The author tells readers that a leather duster*, leather pants*, boots, black eyeliner, and a pony tail means that the fmc is the best of the best as a pack enforcer. What she describes is the charac

A very good book. I am an avid bookworm and this story surprised me. The plot line is unique and I was never quite sure what was going to happen next, or in the end either.

The main character, Quinn, is a dichotomy of characteristics, which makes her more realistic, in my opinion. She is a kick-ass enforcer in her hometown, which helps her to fit in in Hawthorne Cove, with it's mysterious residents. But she is manipulated by her family in a way that everyone (that truly cares for her) but she, c

As a fan of Debbie Cassidy I could not wait to get into this new world of hers, I really enjoy her style of writing and the universe she creates are seriously enjoyable. I went into this not knowing what to expect that the romance aspect is reverse harem and it was a paranormal romance.

This book starts off with introducing us to Quinn our FMC and the world for supernatural's world changing as they know it, jump to present day and we're continue on Quinn being a badass hybrid (half lycan/half hu

WOW!!! Where do I even start!! The is the first book in a new series and I’m absolutely obsessed with Quinn and her world! I don’t want to give anything at all away because I want you to fall in love with everything the same way that I did and I KNOW you will!!

Quinn is a sweet little spitfire who wants nothing more than to be part of her pack and isn’t willing to accept that she may belong somewhere else. Tate is her loveable and yummy best friend who wi

A whole new world that uses the rejected mate trope in a very unique way.
Quinn always tried to do her best and put her pack on the first place, but when her fated mate, Ward, has to step into his brother's role in the pack, Quinn's whole world changes. And then again as she receives the inheritance of her mother who she presumed dead for years. Arriving at Hawthorne Cove with her best friend Tate, Quinn is on several missions at once, some personal, some pack business - but what she did not exp

I love this story. It really pulled me in from the start and kept me guessing all the way through.
Quinn has spent her life trying to prove herself to the pack, as she is half shifter but cannot shift.
After some devastation news, she gets a chance to gain some longed for standing in the pack, only it doesn't exactly go to plan.
This new series has me hooked already, I love Tate and I hope he becomes more for Quinn. Quinn took me a while to like, and I'm not entirely sure I do yet, she is just a li

I absolutely loved this book!
A Shifter’s Sin is about Quinn, a hybrid lycan who can’t shift. Since she can’t shift Quinn has always had to work harder and prove herself to the pack. But after her mate rejects her, Quinn receives papers saying she has inherited property in Hawthorne Cove, a place that has a magical barrier that keeps lycans out. Once again Quinn is asked to prove herself by going to Hawthorne Cove and stealing the artifact that creates the barrier.

Wow! Debbie Cassidy is quickly cementing herself as one of my favorite authors with this new world. Quinn is a hybrid- more human that Lycan, unable to shift- and part of a pack that barely accepts her. When she inherits a home in the mysterious Hawthorne Cove, her pack suddenly finds a use for her and sends her on a mission to bring something back from Hawthorne. Not everything is at it seems in Hawthorne.
As much as I struggle to figure out where this story is going, I can't. I will be going c

DE-VOURED! In no time at all. Truthfully this was a little on the short side for me but it’s a Debbie Cassidy novel so my reading speed had a big uptick. I loved learning about Hawthorne Cove and it’s pack and residents. So many secrets I can’t wait to dive in some more with book 2. I have some theories but I’m sure I’m in for a surprise. The MC I could take or leave her. She has some deep-seated issues but some amazing friends who are allowing her space to figure it out. That being said, she to ...more

This book is the perfect answer to a bad day. It's a book you'll get lost in and when you resurface you'll be either binge reading the next book or begging the author to give it to you lol The characters are amazing - and I know I say that a lot, but these characters are so relatable that I cried less than 20% into the book. I never cry! I wanted to scream at the FMC a few times to set her straight. I felt so invested in the story that I didn't realize it was ending until the last page, and I re ...more

I loved this new introduction to a brand new series in the UF/Paranormal genre. Debbie gives us a great heroine who is strong, determined, edgy, sometimes impulsive, and who has been betrayed. She also has a great support network in the form of her friends who are sometimes pushed aside for various reasons, yet she is adamant in her protection of these same friends. She is met with challenges and does her best to overcome them. Twists and turns abound in this volume and it ends on one he** of a ...more

This was an excellent start to a brand new series and world by the fabulously talented Debbie Cassidy. The world building is phenomenal as is the character development . I am really enjoying the diverse characters that we have met so far. I was completely engrossed in this story. Quinn really pulled at my heart many times . This new world of Debbie Cassidy's is amazing. Several different races of supernaturals and humans all living in their respective places, aware of each other and interacting with each other is awesome. I love how Quinn is especially fast and talented when it comes to being an enforcer, even though her Lycan half is so much weaker than her human side. I enjoy the fact that Quinn has failings and isn't perfect physically or emotionally. And her relationships with her best friends Tate, Nyx, and Co ...more

Ahhhhmazing! What a brilliant start to another favourite series in the making. Debbie has fast become one of my "always read" authors, and this book is right up there, making it my new obsession!!!

As with other books, the relationships are so heartfelt and the friends and supporting characters truly make the story so much MORE.

There is an edge of danger to this one that I really enjoyed, and I am so pleased the next one is set to come out on a couple months, because I NEED more!!!

I'm utterly in love with this new series!!

Quinn was born half Lycan and half-human, with her human half being more dominant; this means that she is unable to shift. Because of this, Quinn is treated as the runt of the pack, constantly being undermined and passed aside. In order to make up for this perceived fault, Quinn has trained harder than anyone else to become an enforcer. Even still Quinn is never recognized as an important and valid member of the pack. That is until she gets an inheritanc

This was such a cool new series from Debbie! Different than what we’re used to.
Quinn isn’t able to shift so she’s spent her life making herself useful to her pack in other ways. She has become the badass chick she needs to be to be pack enforcer.
This story is full of twisty turns that will continually have you guessing what’s happening next.
She is forced to move to Hawthorne Cove, and crazy things going on in the Cove.
From page 1 we already have an opening for Debbie to create spin-off serie

I binge read this in roughly 24hrs. The story and intrigue were incredible. The city of Hawthorne is.... complicated I suppose?

I really like Quinn... for the most part.

I don't know what to say honestly. I couldn't tell you specifically why I picked up this book other than a promo post in a Facebook group.

There is little to no heat in this book. This is my first Debbie Cassidy book and I have no real frame of reference.

I wish we had gotten more Nyx and Orina honestly. More heat build up too. I

This story has it all...a MC who is bad ass, slightly flawed and unable to shift. A protector of her pack, she is rejected by her fated mate and leaves her pack to move to an inherited home from a mother she hadn't seen since she was three years old. Tasked with retrieving something of value from Hawthorne Cove for her pack, she and her best friend set off to do just that. This book is a brilliant start to a new series. As the start of a new world, the world-building is emasculate, just like all of Debbie's other worlds. Quinn is immediately likable and she had me rooting for her from the beginning. As she wiggles farther into the world of Hawthorne Cove, I find myself needing more and more questions answered. There is no doubt in my mind that this series will be one I read the day they are released. Seeing as I finished this one in one sitting. I would h

In a world where you feel like you don't belong, a Lycans world but you are half Lycan and half human and your human side is more prevalent your name is Quinn. Poor Quinn is rejected by her true mate and their bond severed. A letter appears on her doorstep that starts her adventure because the Alpha sends her on a mission that seems to be impossible. I love her dynamic with Tate. I also love how she is basically putting Jax and his alpha in their place. The ending was jaw dropping. I can't wait ...more
