Loving Our Colorful Young
I wish I could give this book more stars for Ebony Mason. The illustrations are gorgeous. The story is empowering and true to life, as life is right now. I highly recommend this book for all. The ones who do not believe in Racism, Discrimination, Injustice, and Harsh Words.
Shani is 8 years old and sometimes she gets sad. Her Grandmother helps her when she begins to loose hope. The world judges her family without even knowing them. When walking in the neighborhood they hear harsh words because they are blamed for making their neighborhood colorful.
