One of the best designed vegan cookbooks I have come across in years. Not only is it beautifully put together as a book, the recipes are all easy and straightforward using what one would have in a vegan kitchen. So glad I came across this book by accident in my local library.

I really enjoyed my first ever "meatloaf" (the Chick'un Loaf with Mushroom Sauce) but, other than that, this cookbook was the worst my partner and I have ever tried out.

If you're eating something unhealthy (and all of these recipes are), you're usually doing so because what you're eating tastes good. That is sourly untrue for the majority of this cookbook, with a special shoutout to the lentil meatballs (which at one point were referred to as "tofu meatballs" in the directions, even though there is no tofu referenced anywhere in the ingredients) and the tofu lemon bars (which made half as much crust as was needed and twice as much filling, and—worst of all—never set properly).
