Excellent book. Most of the tips for me were not new for me after reading "The whole brain child" by Dan Siegel.
The best way to read and consume the tips in this book in my opinion would be to, pick up a notebook and a pencil ( or just use your phone ) and make a note of all those tips# that strike a chord and try to go through them more than once this helps re-inforce the tip.
