How these 30 people managed to turn their lives around amazes me, how they were able to take their tragedies and manage to help others is just... amazing.

Easy read - I really enjoyed the short stories and was inspired of how faith and perseverance changed the course of life for these 30 individuals. I also liked knowing how and who started well known organizations like Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer and Locks of Love.

To someone like me who doesn't have as positive outlook in life as those of the 30+ people in this book, these stories could easily sound pretentious. But then along the way, it didn't fail to touch my heart and make me realize that there is definitely kindness everywhere and that the world can be a beautiful place to live in. Some stories were so unbelievably awful that you feel ashamed for being sorry for yourself. This book lived up to what it aspires to give - inspirations, motivations, and a heartwarming desire to be of help to others.
