When we crashed, I knew what to expect. Aliens. Lots of them. I didn’t expect a marriage proposal…
The day I became a Captain with the Federation Star Fleet, I dedicated my life to fighting the bad guys. Everything was going well, until I crashed our starship into his crummy planet. Now, he wants to marry me. He actually thinks I was sent from the stars.
I’ve never heard of an alien who gives back rubs. But I'm willing to try anything if it means getting off this planet.
Marriage with an alien warrior was not on my bucket list of things to do. He tells me he wants to breed me. But there's more to him than his muscle-bound exterior and devilishly handsome smirk. Little by little, he opens up.
He makes my heart swell. I feel for him...
And then he takes the next step to feel me.
Sensing immediate danger in the region, he gives me his protection, but he's packing more than heat. A quick taste of pleasure, combined with a heavy touch, and I'm ready for more.
I've never been touched by an alien. But I think I like it.
This is not a test. This is my new twisted reality.
This book was sweet, romantic, steamy and had a great HEA. A PNR story with a great adventure and action in it. They were thrown together by difficult circumstances, but found their soulmate in the end. I hope we will read more about the soldiers and the alien women.👍👍👍
This wasn’t a bad book at all but it left me wondering where Fain story started and you get a glimpse of how it all came to be but not all of it. Abby is a captain in the federation fleet and with her commanding officer Riker they have seen plenty and suffered great loss but the soldier on and when her spaceship is attacked by the Feranyu an evil race they crash land on an unknown planet. Now Abby, Riker and fifty men have been taken hostage by a lot of women and there leader is Fain or Master or the great one as the women call him but not all is as it seems and neither is there crashing on the planet but to save her men Abby must marry the alien but not all the women are happy about it especially Kasha she has it bad for the master and then there is Rita that only wants to help and Abby and her master to become one together. So how does it all turn out between them all, get this book to find out.

A MUST-READ alien romance with all the feels ALIEN PROTECTOR by Penelope Woods was fun to read! This sometimes quirky, sometimes funny, and oft-times suspense-filled sci-fi tale was an enjoyable experience. The world/moon on which the story takes place was richly described and easy to imagine for the most part, and the main characters were fairly well developed – especially the character of Abby, the female lead. Fain, the male lead, kept me guessing, however, and I wasn’t totally convinced that was completely by design. There were a couple of major gaffs in timing and some of the steamy scenes were really awkward, but I must admit I still really liked the story! Most of the inconsistencies could be resolved by getting assistance with the editing and proofing, (perhaps provided by some talented Beta readers?). The author is a talented storyteller with some wonderfully creative ideas. I look forward to reading more . . . Happy pages! 😉
I really enjoyed this is not a love story, not in the true sense that we think of but close as you can get with sci-fi, alien/human coming together. Crashing on an alien planet was not what Abby had in mind, but as the captain she had no choice being chased by the enemy. Fain on the other hand was excited the his bride had finally come. Fain had saved hundreds of females and they are all his 'subjects', he is their master, but there is only one Abby, and she is here now. The stress between the captains crew and the females take a back seat while Fain tries to bring Abby to him and his needs and wants. He loves her. The enemy is not gone but can they work together to survive, and will Abby still want him when she learns Fain's secrets? Great HEA, another wonderful Sci-fi by Penelope Woods.

This story is about Abby a ship’s captain who crashes while being attacked by a dangerous enemy, the Feranyu. Once they crash, their mission is to find food and safety, but what Abby finds instead is an alien who wants nothing more than to claim her as his mate. Well, easier said then done.
While Abby becomes more attracted to Fain, she is also having trouble deciding where her loyalties lie. However, when her crew turns on her and more threats from the Feranyu are heading their way, they will need to unite and fight their common enemy together or it may destroy them all.
You must read this book if you like obsessive aliens who will do anything to get their mates!
I have read this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.
Penelope’s new book has it all, good aliens, bad aliens, good humans, bad humans, allies aren’t her allies. It’s a fast paced adventure with sweet loving and an endearing young solider that believes in his captain no matter what. She fights for what is right but is disillusioned about what was right. She learns what a normal life is truly about. He will follow her to the ends of earth. I recommend this book.

Abby is the captain of an Earth Federation warship. She and her crew were ill prepared for the attack they just endured and downright unprepared for the crash landing that followed. Being stranded on an unregistered planet was not on their agenda. Fain, however, could not be happier. Abby will be his bride and help him get his village off this planet. Well, once he convinces her, and that could take longer than they have. Great story with unique characters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love this book! Reminds me of my miltary days. Earnestly this storyline is so different I can't sleep cause it easiest that good. I had to read this storytelling to completion. I love how the beginning slammed into action. And the Drama never stopped. Sometimes you got to justify your options. Then don't think the backstage issues and concerns don't catch you off guard in this storyline. Read this version of refugees get twisted.
3.5 stars. An interesting sci-fi story that has adventure, danger and romance. The story centers mostly around two characters. One is a human female and a captain of a federation ship. She is tough and is willing to do anything for her crew. But she also takes unnecessary risks. Then there is the alien male that knows from the moment he heard her voice that she was the one. I enjoyed the story I just couldn’t connect with the characters to truly enjoy it.
A well written Si -Fi story that kept me turning pages. This is Captain Abby and the people who mean so much to her Fain her Alien mate, Riker and Kasha, Jem and Rita, of the love they find, the evil they fight, and the camaraderie they find as a group. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Abby is a Captain with the Federation Star Fleet when she crashed onto Fain’s planet. Fain knows that Abby his. Will Abby be able to accept that fact? Fast paced read with loads of drama, suspense, steam and emotion. Great world building and an entertaining story. I liked it.
I almost didn't feel like finishing this. Good story but it could have been better. I felt there wasn't enough foundation from where this book started from, but the ending was really good. I gave this 3 cups of java, ☕☕☕.
It was hard to finish. I stopped at 68%. Good premise but this story failed to execute what could have been a great story. I was confused most of the story. I'd be willing to try another book by this author. I'd give this story 2.5 stars.
A weirdly good book. Fantastic world building with very interesting characters. The story was not what I expected and full of surprises, action and sexy times but strange.
Fain and Abby will show you the way. Adventure awaits you in this space tail of war, and much more. A Tale of two groups that have a hard time coming together but eventually do. Enjoy
This story has so much action I hated to put it down.It had a great amount of romance to the action with a complete surprise at the end. You have to read it!!
Abby meets Fain after her ship crashes on his planet. Abby and her soldiers are being held prisoner by Fain . She is definitely not impressed by him or his village of women refugees. Will he win her heart or will she return to space and war ? Will they fall in love or tear each other apart ?
A great book I just c a n not get enough of this author. This is a standalone with a HEA. There is lots of action and adventure not to mention steamy scenes
Not a bad story , has some interesting concepts but the writing seems choppy. It jumps to different scenes with very little connection that can be hard to understand some times.
