This is the first book in a rejected mate reverse harem trilogy, This mostly lays the foundations for what’s to come getting to know Mai and her future mates Alphas Henderson, Silas, Ragnar and Valentine.
Mairin has been a member of the Ravensword pack since she was discovered at the age of twelve alone in the woods with only her name.
Taken in as an unwanted foster kid her life in the pack hasn’t been kind.
At the ceremony to reveal her future fated-mate, she is matched with the current Alpha of t ...more

Not bad.
I read another book about rejected mates and it sucked so bad, glad that this one didn't go that route.
This was a relatively short book, less than 200+ pages on my reader so there wasn't really time to connect with the characters. I have read shorter books that have the ability to make you feel you have known the characters for ages but this book focused more on the surrounding that the main characters. We didn't get to see them all interact with one another, a missed opportunity that.

Mairin (aka Irin FMC) doesnt have a happy life growing up. Found and adopted as a foster wolf into an abusive pack that hate her. For her her only way out is being mated and claimed except things dont go to plan. She ends up being cast out straight into another pack - Fall mountain pack and 4 Alphas - Ragnar, Henderson, Silas and Valentine. Its an adjustment for her because they have different morals and standards than the last pack. Its pretty dark in places and some of what Irin goes through i

This was a solid rejected mate story with a twist at the end. Definitely a cliffhanger, and I’ll most likely read book 2.
The story started out solid, explaining a bit of the world Mairin lives in, as it doesn’t appear to be the regular world. There are walls up and different packs took different territories in the UK and Ireland. We do later find out that there is a regular human world with amenities like Netflix, so I didn’t totally understand the walls and treaty. When Mairin is tossed in the ...more

So, I am being very generous with this book. I am not normally a fan of G. Bailey and compared with her other books, this one was better than the others. That being said if anyone else had written this book I probably would have DNF it around 60%. I really did try to like it though, as this is one of her newer books and I really wanted to see her writing growth. Unfortunately it was not as great as I expected but better than what I normally receive from this author.

Mia lives in foster care as an outcast in her pack. When the day of her mate ceremony comes for all eligible 18 year olds, Mai is hoping she will have a better life and will finally be protected by her fated mate. However when that mate turns out to the the alpha and one of her abusers, she is thrown into the sea. To Mai‘s disbelief she washes up on the shore of the rival pack, alive. The alpha mate knows she isn’t dead and will do anything to kill her. However now she knows what freedom feels l

Not for me
A lot of grammatical errors. Usually wrong words used or omitted, which was weird.
It was a whole lot of the main character being in the dark and not knowing things or even piecing them together.
It didn't really make sense why the four alphas wouldn't tell her anything, although they did say it would be too much for her to handle and that they were hoping she'd just remember on her own with time. With that said... Come on! How long were they going to wait? Forever, apparently.

This book is not your typical werewolf/shifter book that just runs through similar overdone plot lines, it provides a twist with small hints to the ideas/plots from mythology tied in with shifter lore. The book wasn't fully realized though. It missed great opportunities for character development and interaction. There were missed opportunities to see this "new pack/land" the main character has joined. Instead of allowing the readers to explore this "new pack/land" through the eyes of Mairin, rea

DNF at 50% after Mairin (view spoiler) and the alphas are discussing next steps.
The book started off pretty cheesy and contrived with a scheduled mate ceremony when she turned 18, a super overboard response as a rejected mate of the current pack alpha that was hinted as being super mean to her (rape?), and the fact that of course the alpha leaders of the competing pack find her after she was left for dead and consequently save her and force her ...more

I was intrigued by the blurb, and there were elements of the story that were interesting, but there were also several things that weren't so great that need some work..

So I am on a rejected mates kick right now, and this was such a good start to a new series.
Marin, what a character she is. I cannot wait to see her bloom. Rejected by her mate and believing she is broken. Oh how i cannot wait to see you soar. She is trying to survive out in the shifter world and it is not easy. I believe she can manage it though!! I look forward to seeing what happens next.
Well done Gem and I need book two, I need to know what happens next.

God this book totally pulled me in deep fast. With such an amazing storyline with some equally wicked and strong characters. Helped me read this within a few hours.
I love reading rejected mate books and this one was that and more. With its added twists to it that you don't fully find out about until the end. Leaving you on a major cliffhanger, but it's totally worth it as this is one hell of a book.

3-3.5
Hooked me in the writing was quick and easy to read.
I just wanted more I think more interaction with the alphas and Mairin so you could feel the connections instead of being told about it. And that freaking cliffhanger... would have been nice to know it was there before I picked up the book... oh well... 🙄

This was a fabulous start to a new series! I devoured this book! I love G Baileys books and this was no different.
Rejected mates books seem to be the in thing right now. This is the first one I have read and I absolutely love it. I honestly was not too sure about The Who rejected mates series. At the end of the day I really love reading books when there is this pull between the characters. I wasn't sure how this was going to be in a rejected mates series. Ugh
I have read some of this authors other books and they have been great, but this one was legit horrible. All I wanted to do while reading it was eye roll. The heroine is an idiot, everything feels super rushed and nothing is explained to the reader in any sort of detail. Ugh so bad, so so bad. Go read some of her earlier works, this one needs to go back to the drawing board

This rejected-mate story was a quick read for me, during moments I could not have a paper book at my disposal.
To be honest, it was an okay read, but nothing more for sure. I would even rank it 1,5 stars. There were elements I really liked. For instance, this was not a typical shifter book. It hints at a deeper layer that centers around Greek Mythology and I am curious to how that will be revealed in the second book of the series.

I love reading shifter romance and and when i tell you this book was awsome please take my word for it.

G Bailey is really good at starting new series, her books really draw you in and make you so impatient for the next one haha. And she definitely did this yet again for me with Her Wolves. I love wolf shifter but I havent read one in awhile so this was exactly what I needed to get me out of my book hangover. I really loved Irin, with her vulnerability and finally becoming the person and wolf she needs to be. She hasn't gotten to where she needs to be, but I bet we will see her grow more, especial

Oh, I had such a hard time with the heroine's first name. I mean Mairin would not sound nice in my mind no matter how many times or how many accents I said it in, and in the end, I was okay with all the pet names given to her. Mai? Irin? Both better than put together.

G. Bailey is one of the best authors that I have the pleasure of reading. She really know how to crest a world and characters that grab you snd drag you into their book-becoming invested and enthralled in what is happening. She has once again started off a series with a bang...with a book full of heartache, tortured souls, suspense, drama, caring wolves, mysterious characters and deadly evil characters that you just want to see loose. Mairin is a brilliant FMC...she has a vulnerability and a bro

I hated it. It wasn't the story, it was the poor writing. This reads like mediocre fan fiction, poor sentence structure, clunky prose, and weak characterizations. It was painful to finish. I almost DNF about 40% because NOTHING exciting happens, but I super-speed read through the rest just in case it has a redeeming ending. It did not. I don't mind the reverse harem trope and the story had potential, but the writing was clunky and bland.

Well this book just totally threw me for a loop. I love reading books on wolf shifters and G. Bailey brings you this amazing new series. So here we have a Mairin who is a female turning eighteen and about to find her true mate. Now this is where things are messed up. So she ends up in the Ravensword pack and these people are just ruthless but they make it sound like they are the nicer of all the packs. So what happens when your mate rejects you, he tries to kill you after the rejection. She ends

Great story
So, I'm a big fan of the author, and I really loved the overall story and getting to know the characters, but.... I thought it was a shame that there was no in depth delve into the characters, the background, nothing really. The main character Mairin is a member of the Ravensword pack since she was found in the woods with no memory of her origins, with nothing with her but a paper with her name. The book starts the day before her mate ceremony, being bullied by her pack and hoping that after tomorrow things will be different, she will no longer be the unwanted and unloved foster kid who lives her life in fear of being abused and bullied by her pack mates. The day comes but sadly she gets mated with the worst person

What is good somewhere along the way
The story behind main story is pretty good. The problem is is that it seems very immature in the sense of very formula, like it's going through the motions. Which is surprising cuz this author is one of my favorites. It just kind of had stop and start stop and start throughout the book. Of course it gets to a point where everything's got to hurry up and it's rush rush rush rush to get to the next point so that they can do to the Nextbook which I find extremely ...more

This story may seem like another book about the rejected-mates/paranormal-RH trope. Yeah, I know. It's a tired out trope that there can hardly be a new spin. Uh, but what you'd be surprised with this one, especially on the unexpected blending of christianity and Greek beliefs. Somehow GB has managed to combine a compellingly intriguing story that all centers on a mysterious past that our FMC can't remember. It leads weight to nearly every aspect of her life from her rejection to her finding the
