This was enjoyable. It was a very fast paced thriller with lots of twists and turns.

The plot was a little weak at times but overall fine.

Lightly recommend.

An okay storyline, kept me curious enough to finish the book, but could have
used better editing.

I had high hopes for this book as I love a good twisty-turny story. However, I found the characters flat and the storyline ridiculous. The only good part was the end, but it was so quick, there was minimal build-up.

Personal preference? I don't care for a damsel in distress or weak-willed women and the "Oh I'm so crazy I couldn't possibly care for myself and only a man can save me" trope is tired and frankly, boring.

The best part of the book was the audio version, which only takes 4 hours, from start to finish, so it's a quick listen. The narrator is flat and characters sometimes sound auto-generated/AI voices (think the worst GPS voice you could find and that's what the narrator sounded like at moments).

Find something better

I hate writing bad reviews. I really do. I can read a good book in a day. Two days at the most. This one took me five. It was boring, I couldn't keep my eyes open and and I kept waiting for the storyline to open up. Next thing I know I'm at 97% and its being wrapped up faster than the first big hill on a rollercoaster. I could go on and explain how you couldn't even picture the characters because they were so vague. I could tell you how disjointed the story read . What I really want to advise is just not to waste your time. It was a really bad read Honestly.

This was much better boos as her first book The rich housewife I read it. I dislike that book so much that I didn't want to read anything by this author at the same time I like to have second thoughts after time so I decided to try again. I loved the story line, but there is still that repetition that annoyed me in her previous book. It wasn't so intense but sometimes I felt I could start at any chapter and would have full info again.
I definitely enjoyed the ending as didn't expect the final twist. Probably in some sense story was bit too rushed, there could be some more development between the chapters.
Not bad in total, not bad.

Great book!! The plot twists just kept coming throughout the book. The narrator’s voice was great, clear, concise and very easy to listen to. The story I wasn’t sure where it was going to take us but glad it went the way it did and the twists at the end were definitely in my blind spot. I look forward to reading more from this author. Not too dark but suspense and thrilling!

Stupid book

Waste of time; not interesting or intriguing. Just a waste of time. Not an engaging story at all. Inconsistencies and doesn't make sense.

Great thriller

This story kept you on your toes until the end. Poor Julia. What her husband put her through. Loved the HEA ending. The twist at the end was quite good!

I gave this book some stars because I was thankful it was so short. Other than that, unimpressive.
