I felt this was his swan song book. I love Denis Waitley, but his other books go deeper into the topics he wrote about. For someone who has not read Denis before, this is a good place to start. The topics are still spot on. This is the book high schoolers should read and study to begin learning how to take control of their lives.

I would give this book 3,5 starts but its not necessarily the books fault since I did not really know what I am about to go into when I was buying this book. I was expecting way more because of high rating this book has, for me it was way too simple and I found it to be more oriented for a novice reader in self-development.

I would recommend this book to someone who is an absolute beginner in area of self-development. So if you haven't read much about self-development at all and are looking for place to start than this book is what you looking for. There are many fundamentals and essential things on how to organize your thinking, how to fix your self-esteem, how to become self-confident, how to talk to yourself and how to project yourself in order to be successful etc. Basically how to be a winner in life.

On the other hand if you're someone who is used to working on himself everyday and who is committed to self-development for quite some time, you will most likely find this book little boring or full of information you have known for a long time. So unless you just want to quickly recap some of the basic knowledge I would rather skip this piece as I doubt you will learn anything new.

Overall it was a very easy read, the book has less than 200 pages and is full of easy to understand stories and lessons. It definitely has value and I've been trying to live by most of its wisdom for many years already.

I was a huge fan of the original Psychology of Winning. Version one came to me as an audio cassette program, listened to many times on my work commutes.

When I heard that this best selling program was getting a reboot, I had to read it. Sure enough, it’s as great now as it was in the 1980’s, when I listened. Neuroscience has come a long way. The principles that Denis Waitley teaches get you into the right frame of mind to build habits, which are the key to a winning life. Highly recommended.

Read it and learn

This book is really improved. If one applies the information they will see an improvement. I read the first book and enjoyed it. I was a little concerned if this would be a duplicate of the first book. It was not and I enjoyed how he brought the reader the history of the book. Read and become a winner that you were designed to become.
