Not for those faint of heart. Deady is not what he seems, a homicidal maniac from outer space with a great love of women trapped in a bears shape. No wait... he is exactly what he seems.

A great collection of short strips about the life of Deady pre and post arriving on Earth. Multiple styles but also with a number from the uber talented Voltaire. (First of all this is the collected vol 1-3... not just vol 1 like it says)
Normally I like Voltaire and his cultural skewering. And I was excited to see all the collaborators and crossovers he was working with: Neil Gaiman, Gris Grimly, Ruby Gloom, Roman Dirge, Che Gilson, Clive Barker. But this just fell flat.
It's just... mean. And stupid. There's no real story development and very little to make you laugh. You just roll your eyes and think "whatever."
