Probably not bad for the genre, but I couldn't stand the heroine, being blond, pretty and therefore really stupid and in need to be saved is way too much for me :)

At the beginning the gothic atmosphere was simply irritating, then it became absurd. Everything was overdone. Even the romance, love in a day with a murder, yeah. Not.

The wolves howled at night, especially when the moon was full...

Carly plans to join her sister Jasmine at a castle near Transylvania. She is nearly killed when her driverless coach falls off a winding mountain road. Jasmine has disappeared, and Carly is unable to reach her. Two murders occurred within the past year, both during the full moon... A well written book with twists and turns as it reaches the end.

Sultry Suspense

When this book started out with a carriage, a count and a secluded cabin I knew it was gonna be good. I wasn't wrong. It's a romance, suspenseful thriller and murder mystery all in one with lots and lots of Harlequin Romance sex. It's the kinda stuff my mom loved to read and that I'd sneak a peek at as a teen.

This one is not well written at all. The use of “poetic description” was juvenile. Sorry, but this was a very rough read because I was so embarrassed for reading it. I guessed the plot rather early on but stuck around until the end. Not recommending this one.
