Uhm... so this fanfic was 1100 pages according to my research and I finished it in 3 days... well I guess you can really tell how much I loved this fanfic. Ao3 authors really never disappoint. You have to read it because words ain't good enough to explain this.

Rating: Definitely over 5 stars
Okay so this isn't exactly what I was expecting. It's an enemies to lovers fic. Louis is a fairy and Harry is the spirit of pain. They hate each other. They're fighting one day when they fall through a portal, which has been malfunctioning. They travel through the worlds to try to get back to the university and along the way they pick up Liam, Niall, and Zayn. They go through adventures together and they form strong friendship bonds and eventually a relationship together. It is so so perfect because they're soulmates and honestly, their entire relationship is everything that I want. They treat each other so well (at the end) and seeing them get there is so worth it. I loved their journey so much and I love this story to pieces. I wish I had read it before twitter spoiled certain scenes and quotes for me though.

This story was so perfect and I loved it. Okay, so first and foremost, the drabbles are so so necessary to this story. The only fault in this whole book, is the pacing at the end. We go through the journey of Harry's character development for 25 chapters and it's so perfect and it's slow and it's tender and it's right. Then at the end of this book, Louis loses his wings. I understand why it happens and I wholeheartedly agree that it makes the story stronger, but it happens with only 5 chapters left in the book. It's not enough time for Louis to heal and I think it is crucial to this story that we see Louis heal. I, myself, finished this book feeling empty and melancholic for what Louis lost; it was beautiful and it was sad. I found that I needed to read the "wings and the soul" drabble to feel whole again. Louis' journey didn't feel right until we saw that he overcame his own hardships and that he is still able to feel complete after his wings are gone. This whole story is so so great and my only constructive feedback is that it would be better off with maybe a sequel/novella detailing Louis' healing process or addition of the drabbles chapters into the actual story to show Louis getting back to his happy self after having lost such a crucial part of him.
Aside from that, this entire thing was so so incredible. I loved every bit of it. I have been finishing a book every other day for a while now and this one took me almost a week to finish; because it's huge, almost 1.6k pages, but also because it's so entertaining and you can't help but slow down to make sure you're enjoying it and not going through it too fast. Harry's characterization was so well done. I loved reading about his person and I found myself fascinated with him. Reading his past and how his trauma cultivated him to bring others pain was very well done. I also loved how Harry and Louis were described as soulmates and as being so similar yet so different and I feel like if you read into it, you could find a lot of symbolism within their relationship and the way they both lost their wings and are in theory, the only people who can understand what the other went through. That feels like a special kind of connection and it made their relationship so strong. I deeply enjoyed their banter and seeing it flourish from something bitter to something fond and kind. This is an enemies to lovers book and I deeply enjoyed seeing their relationship dynamic change throughout and the way they tried so hard to resist their emotions. I found it nice. I also really loved how well Louis was written. He was written to be so pure and so kind and to love his wings more than anything and I've noticed that there are a lot of things from before that hint at how this story could've ended and I find that nice; I find it nice how the author used Louis' characterization to in the end show us just how big of a loss it was for Louis. We saw his love for nature and his fear of not having wings on earth and how much he loves his job and how bright and happy and pure his emotions are and in the end, all of this made him losing his wings so much harder. It was very well written.
I liked this story so much. I loved Harry's inner struggles and his character development and how Harry and Louis slowly grew closer to each other over time and I fucking adored the Wonderland episodes where they finally started to bond and talk about genuine things. It was perfect. I loved seeing Harry do the whole "I don't care about anyone but you" thing for a while. I enjoyed seeing Louis get conflicted about Harry and fall in love with him in the end. Their journey through the worlds was so so entertaining and lovely to read about. It's such a beautiful story and the disability representation here is so incredibly important; It's not shown often and seeing it here is kind of perfect. I loved reading this so so much and even though it took me forever to get close to being finished, I'd definitely love to reread it again sometime.

This book is my favorite of all time. I re-read it on a weekly basis, and cry (happy tears) about it basically every time. I'm so hyper-fixated on it that the second I hear/read the word Collision I begin in a downwards spiral of "oh god that book was so good, it changed my life, remember *enter scene here*, and *enter another scene here*, and how it felt when I first experienced the book" and it just goes on and on and on.
I've told most of my family about this book. There are times when I'm reading the book where I'm full fledges cackling into the darkness of my room like a psychopath. One specifically memorable time my downstairs neighbor called me because I was sobbing so loud. I kid you not.
The point is if you haven't read this, read it. If you've read it, re-read it. It's beautiful. The plot, the characters/character development, the themes, the thought put into it, the dialogue, all of it. It will pick you up off your feet and spin you around, and when it sets you down your world will have been changed for the better. PLEASE READ IT!!!!!!

That was insane. The world building?? A whole new level. I don't know why it took me that long to finally read this fanfiction, since everybody is gushing about it. I know why now. In love with this, even though it hurt.

Louis has spent too long confined to the earth, wishing and longing and yearning for nothing more but the open air. Now, he feels as though he could probably reach out towards the stars and pick every single one off the sky and let them rest in the palms of his cold hands. Nothing confines him anymore.

If you've read this book, I think we can both agree on the fact that this is the most adorable and beautiful story. Like, even if there's something you don't like, there's so many things you end up loving and it's just, ah. chef's kiss.

oh how i love this fic, it’s cheery, it’s magical, it’s fantasy, i really adore it, you know thaaat part will always brake me but overall, this book is really good to me, i love to immerse myself into this fantasy worlds and although it’s, you know, fan fiction, with real people, i REALLY like it, give it a try!

Collision is undoubtly my favourite ff that I have read in the past two years. It widened my taste in fantasy books and my imagination that I so long thought I lost. The character development is so well thought out, and the environment always reminding us it's not earth but another universe.
Thank you for writing such an unique and beautiful story, I loved it so much.

well what can i say, at first i was very sceptical about after i heard that the characters are magical creatures. it was a read flag for me because i don't like that type of things happening in the fanfiction stories. after a while, i decided to give it a chance since everyone was talking about it. after the first chapter, i got a feeling that i was wrong. i was really impressive by author' attention to the details to create world like this and it was so gripping that i wasn't able to take my eyes off the screen. sadly, going deeper and deeper into the story, it became only more and more cheesy just proving me that there is nothing special about that and personally, i'm a little bit dissapointed about how things turned out to be.

Me encantó! Una de las mejores fics que he leído!
Es la primer fic de fantasía que leo y al principio lo sentía un poco raro (por las descripciones y el contexto en general) pero una vez que te adentras a la historia todo es mucho más fácil de entender.
Ame totalmente a Harry y Louis, ambos tienen una personalidad definida pero con la disposición al cambio y mejorar; definitivamente este es un fic que sabe abordar las inseguridades de los personajes y a su vez las va trabajando conforme avanza la historia.
Cita favorita: "No puedes decir cosas así... Cosas que me hacen feliz, cosas que me hacen amarte."

i was so excited for this one since it's pretty popular and i was intrigued by the fairytale/mythology genre which is something you don't see that much (or ever?) in larry fics.
all i can say is that my expectations were exceeded. by FAR. i have CRIED literal tears reading this. i wasn't prepared to fall in love with this story and the characters the way that i did. at all. i dived into it thinking this would be a nice, quick and easy read before i start something else - what a joke! this story consumed me from the very first moment until the very last line up to the point where i KNOW it will stay with me forever.
also, the writing was excellent!!

one thing about this book i absolutely admire is the end. like i don't like it but the courage you need to have to write something that's not entirely perfect? damn- also i do like it. it just wasn't what i was expecting but the epilogue gave me my inner peace back. I love the fact that everything was so much bigger than it appeared to be. and not gonna lie this story is just iconic. i mean niall??? and zayn??? i absolutely adored them. and gemma has my heart, she's amazing.
overall this whole thing was pretty nice. it took quite some time to read it but in the end i was happy to have kept going :3

This was the most amazing larry book I think I've ever read. The plot was amazing, it was fantasy, it was enemies to lovers, it was mythology. It was so long and yet I finished it really quickly because I could not stop reading. It was so beautiful and the writing was stunning and the character development was so fantastic. This book had me crying so much and the banter and back and forth had me on the floor cackling. (Im also very in love with Niall's character he is the most gorgeous little thing).

Impossível isso não contar como livro. 1100 páginas!!!! essa história tem meu coração, quase chega perto do tanto que eu amo FB mas nenhuma supera a maioral. Já tem muito tempo que li mas nunca vou esquecer da cena do Louis tirando eles daquele lugar. Ou das cenas das asas. Choro até hoje se eu ficar pensando muito nisso.

I really liked this fanfic. It's interesting, pure and so cute and I felt so much love. I LOVED mostly Harry's but also Louis' growth, the autor really did such a good job. Also the drabbles are so cute, I highly reccomend this fic! <33

LOVE LOVE LOVE this fic!! it was my first Larry fic I ever read and it was great, it was emotional and heartfelt but also so entertaining. enemies to loves done right
