Stronger together or apart yes they tried both
Drake goes off check on someone while the others are off doing their own thing too. Can hears that his sisters are in trouble so must go to them. In truth they are in trouble but from their own father. Cam comes from the Roma (the gipsy) they have their own rules and their father wants war with the intention of becoming the king of the Roma. War it becomes, the team once again fight for the innocent. A strong story and fights to the death and will there be any salvation yes DL writes in the twists clever ploys and a group of good people who only want what is right. A great story great characters and of course some not so great.If you have followed Matt Drake you will love this book too.

A stunner of a book
Once again David hasn't let us down.
When I bought this book I was in the middle of reading another book by another author, but after a day or so of knowing it was sat languishing in my library I started to get the Leadbeater shakes and decided to put my current book on the backburner and tuck into this little beauty.
I have read all of David's books and he's never let me down and I can't wait for them to get the Hollywood treatment, which is surely inevitable.
Keep up the excellent work Dave, keep on knocking it out of the park.

Explosive
Well that is the 27 book in the series, and I have read them back to back, a sort of binge read. And can say that the story may have varied but the quality never dropped. It has been enjoyable watching the team and individual characters developing as each book passed, and at no point did the plots have the been there read it before feel, they have always felt fresh even if the characters have been the same.

This was excellent follow-up to the Voodoo soldiers. This proved to Drake that they are better together than apart. Drake wet back to Coyote, Co. and finishing up the kidnapping of women and then meet up with team in Clearwater where they decided to help Cam against his father in Romania . It became a blood fest among the 4 clans until Cam in the end killed his father to end the feud. On to the next chapter. 10 stars plus!!!!! Thanks, Carl Clause

Not to be missed
Once again David Leadbeater has produced a Matt Drake spectacular. His style of writing is consistent and much loved by his fans. The detail that he goes into in the background to his books never fails to impress. I love these books

David Leadbeater's The Carnival of Curiosities (Matt Drake Book 27)is a hellacious story, even more so than Book 26. This time, the group gets involved in helping Cam, newest member of the team save his two younger sisters. I love every story in this series. They must be read in order to get the best of his character and plot development!

Action packed!
David has done it again! A different type of story where the team together again, heads for Europe to help another family member. Crazy battles are what the team does best and this full of them. Who wins?! Read it and find out! Highly recommend!!

Brilliant Series
The Carnival of Curiosities (Matt Drake Book 27) by David Leadbeater. Cam receives a message from his sisters that there is terrible trouble. When Strike Force One arrive they find themselves caught up in a deadly battle between different Roma clans.

Boring
I slogged through the Carnival of Curiosities, hoping that I could become more interested in this plot line as the pages went by.
I could not.
This is not the kind of story I have come to expect from the Matt Drake series. I found it to be extremely boring.

Drake and the team are back in another all action adventure, this time helping Cam with a family feud in Romania. Good story, but is a stop gap, as the fight with the US President looms.
