Lady Rample and the Parisian Affair

Lady Rample #9

by Shéa MacLeod

It's springtime in London, and Lady Rample is ready for a new adventure. When Aunt Butty declares she wants to be a novelist and must move to Paris posthaste (because novelists live in Paris), Lady Rample decides to go with her. Especially since her paramour, Hale Davis, is also headed to Paris for a jazz gig. She might as well join in the fun. She's been in Paris for less than a week when she stumbles across the body of a former Harlem Hellfighter. Next thing she knows, she’s embroiled in the hunt for a stolen diamond and in the sights of a cold-blooded killer.Book 9 in the popular, feel-good Lady Rample Mysteries set (mostly) in 1930s London.

About the author

Shéa MacLeod has dreamed of writing novels since before she could hold a crayon. She totally blames her mother.

Her favorite poem as a child was ‘Jabberwocky’, and Her favorite authors were Agatha Christie and Edgar Allan Poe. Which probably explains a lot.

After a six year sojourn in London, England, a dearth of good donuts has driven her back to her hometown. She now resides in the leafy green hills outside Portland, Oregon where she indulges in her fondness for strong coffee, Ancient Aliens reruns, lemon curd, and dragons.

Because everything's better with dragons.

Shéa is the author of the SUNWALKER SAGA (a fast paced urban fantasy series with a kick-ass heroine published by Montlake) and DRAGON WARS (a post-apocalyptic series with dragons)as well as the Cupcake Goddess novelettes.

Really good

Lady Rample,Aunt Buttie and their entourage of servants and friends move to Paris as Aunt Buttie fancies herself to be an author of mysteries. Whilst in Paris there are murders and mayhem as usual. I really enjoyed reading this book.
