Het was wel oke. De eerste helft was beter dan de tweede helft. Het boek ging echt langzaam en er was ook niet echt spanning. Dat was wel jammer en vandaar 3 sterren.

Wonderful book. Great plot and execution. Refreshing and very lovely.
Felt good to read things through Draco's very slytherin commentary, yet very Gryffindor.
Here are the things I liked about this one year wise:

Year 1: Loved how they befriended each other and Draco was still himself. Loved how he was not after Harry and how Hermione blackmailed him into friendship and how the troll incident got them together.
Loved how he was always on about it not being Severus and how he got his backup plan by contacting Andromeda. Loved it really. His personality. How he mixed two potions to come ahead and how he protected harry with the stone.
Year 2:
Liked how Draco was so undeniably himself. His bond with Tonks and Andromeda. The argument with Hermione. The way he started questioning things. He was both funny and very saractic in his narration. How he was confused that why iceblood was wrong.
Year 3:
His narration again was perfect. Liked what his boggart was. I mean I get it the way things were for him. How he cared for his friends. His and Theo's relationship too.
Year 4:
Liked the fight btw Harry and Ron and Draco's stand in it. How he accompanied Harry in not being a prefect and convinced and let it rest. How mature he was through everything. The Yule ball was perfect. Him with Fleur? Icing on cake. How Gabrielle adapted Draco. Love
Year 5:
Loved Draco here too. Was scared for him though. Really scared. The path he had decided to go on? No I did not want that for him. But I am happy he saved sirius from dying. But the cost?No. I do like the fight Harry and he had along with others about his plans. How he taught him occlumency.
I was shit scared when he started with the knives, the blood quill on his own hands etc.Loved him with Neville
Year 6:
I liked how Harry and he were along with Ron and Hermione, always on the same terms. No secrets. How he basically dissected and planned everything. How they supported him when he got nightmares. It was so nice to see him and Hermione talk openly and how Harry and him got together after Theo's return.
The memories in the pensieve will always be my fav. Really.
And ron's speech after they got together. ICONIC. So blunt and so fresh.
How he changed course of everything. Zoe as Carrows, Wow! That's what happens when a Slytherin develops Bravery.
Year7:
Draco's a mastermind. Loved how he turned everything in his favour. Jenkins was great. His bond with Sev too. How he saved ted showed how far he's come. Loved how you protected almost all major characters.
Was shit cared for Draco when he was ousted and how he wouldn't speak. His breakdown in the middle of the war was so real. Was astonished when I got to know he had even debunked the sex trafficking circles too. This guy was really something else. He had literally made Dumbledore his pawn. I loved how sectumsempra was used to kill Bellatrix by Draco. Andromeda, sad she had to die.
Loved the resurrection talks.
Would have loved to see the trial though.
Epilogue:
Loved how you gave a chance to Snape. Would have loved to see their wedding too. Loved he went after Hermione like a brother. Loved their bond the most. The kids were great. Harry and Theo bickering made me feel something. Him teaching potions and Nev and him being a duo? Yes please.

I really liked this. My friend actually read the whole thing and immediately started sending me screenshots to get me to read it. I was kinda skeptical because I don't really like harry potter stuff unless its crack. BUt it was actually really good!
I'm a big fan of forced character development and slow burn so that parts alone were a dream come true. Draco's development is done so naturally and beautifully. It's fantastic. Not only that but nearly all the other characters are all more developed than in the original series.
And the entire series is cut down to the best parts so it makes for a much easier read.
I even periodically reread it, though I usually stop before year 7, just because I personally don't find it as entertaining as the rest of it.
IN SUMMARY- It's great, it's hilarious, and the plot do be plotting

in all their fics caffeinatedflumadiddle is very very very good at pointing out and making the dumbassery of characters and idiocy of secret plots funny
there were so many scenes that were so so funny just because draco was being blunt about obvious safety hazards and poor teaching in the school which definitely carried the fic for me

i wasn't prepared for it so i think it made me enjoy it less but this story really makes draco the main character. as in it isn't 'harry potter's story' told through the eyes of a gryffindor draco, instead now draco is front and centre in driving the plot, harry really doesn't feel like an active agent ever except in the final battle scene. i like the idea that harry is important to the plot but honestly he wasn't at all except where there was no way that it could be avoided to still follow canon events.
