I loved how I could actually hear the voice of reason in this book and the tone fit my own love/hate relationship with my experience with yoga. I've been through it all and I've come to discover that it's a path that is different and unique for everyone. This book solidified my core beliefs and values of a very important practice in my life, but one that I need to work for me. After reading this book I feel liberated to take my own approach to my yoga practice and let it work for me. My husband has even started in on his own Fucking Yoga journey and he's loving it too!

So real!

Purchased and just finished reading. Have already recommended it to several people. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and found myself laughing out loud at several moments. Especially, as a beginner in yoga, it put several things in perspective backed with references so one could continue on with further points of study. Easy read, author pulls no punches and tells it like it is, but at the same time you feel as if your having a conversation with a good friend.
Covers just about everything I.e. history, safety, equipment, classes, styles, and some other topics that I didn't even know were important that I do now.
Well worth the read!
