Best 1st meeting ever!!

This is the final book in this series and what a fantastic end it was. Nora and Walker so different yet so much the same, how they meet is hilarious how their story unfolds, phenomenal and their hea enduring. I loved these two, their bantering and their chemistry!!!

Nora has recently returned to NY after spending the last year abroad fulfilling her love of travel. Even though it isn’t something she enjoys she is convinced to attend an art show with her friends. She isn’t shy about making her opinions clear which is how she meets Walker.

Walker is an artist and the gallery owner. Rather than being deterred by Nora’s harsh comments it only makes her that much more fascinating. He is attracted not only to her beauty but her fiery personality and is determined to convince her that despite their differences they couldn’t be a better match and not for a fling but forever.

Watching the relationship unfold between the strong personalities of Nora and Walker will keep you entertained from beginning to end.

This is the sixth book in the Business of Love Series. This is Walker's story, the famous artist who specializes in nude paintings. This was a great book and I loved the characters. Walker and Nora were not a likely pair but were perfect together. Their chemistry was off the charts. She was independent and a little quirky but effected him like no other woman. Their back and forth banter was cute. This was a great book that was hard to put down once I started. In fact I read it in one setting. It's a standalone with no cliffhanger. A cute ending. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

What a fantastic way to end this series! Loved the chemistry between Nora and Walker, especially because they didn't seem like they would work as a couple, but oh man, did they ever. Their interactions are sometimes hilarious and snarky, sometimes sweet and definitely sexy, and I love how she seemed to affect Walker, he wasn't prepared for Nora and it showed and it was awesome! One thing I love about Ali Parker books is that each book wraps up with no cliffhanger and a wonderful resolution for the main couple.

Walker and Nora are the couple in this the 6th book of the Business of Love series. Two people could not be more different but what a great couple! Ali brings us a very well written solid story line, with extremely lovable characters that have great chemistry and witty banter. They are night and day different, he is an artist who specializes in painting nudes, & she is a world traveler and loves it. This is a 5 star read.

Nora and Walker Will Keep You Turning the Pages ❤❤❤❤❤

Oh yeah Walker's story is in living color!! Walker has it all, looks, manners, money and a career he loves. What he doesn't have is a girlfriend or a social life outside his close friends. Nora is just back in the states after a year long journey traveling. Escaping NYC and the stifling pressure of her parents go become a dentist Nora is giving it one year to get a job to secure the funds to resume traveling. One night with VIP access at a gallery fundraiser will changed the course if these two lives. She thinks the artist is a pretentious swine robbing hard working people by charging the price of a car for a glorified piece of paper. Walker listens to the beautiful woman beside him totally rake has work over the coals not knowing who he is and becoming more intrigued by the second. So when Nora finds out who Walker is she is mortified and then he shames her into a date. Yep you heard right. That date turned into another then another until they didn't get enough of each other. She's a breath of fresh air for Walker, snarky, independent and didn't care for his money. But what happens when Nora gets a dream job of traveling and writing articles about it? She can't in good conscience make him wait for her so she ends it. Can Walker make her understand that he'd travel the world just to be with her?? This is a MUST READ!!! The characters are so great together and it's a bonus to catch up on previous characters. Another amazing and heartfelt story from Ali Parker that will have you turning the page and soaking in each word. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC if this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection. Can't wait to see what comes next.

An excellent romance read

Nora, a wandering soul, has come back to New York after a year backpacking across Europe and is dragged to an art show where she speaks to Walker, the artist and gallery owner, about her thoughts on art. As the story progresses embarrassment ensues, a second chance is given, and what you think you want may turn out to be the opposite of what you can live with. Ali Parker’s Read Between the Lines is an excellent romance read with a snarky female lead and charming male lead.

Nora opens her mouth and whatever shes thinking just tumbles out, she is such a breathe of fresh air it makes you want to take deep cleansing breathes. Walker the other main character in this story is a very succesfull artist. The way they meet is quite comical but I will let you read the book for that. This book is an easy read standalone Novella HEA. I found this very enjoyable and amusing at times.

Walker and Nora are two awkward individuals who feel stifled around people. Nora likes to travel because she feels that is the only time that she is her true self. Walker is an artist who puts his all in his work. When these two meets' sparks ignite. Can these two awkward individuals find common ground to find happiness? Read Between The Lines

Relaxing

Nora's parents are both dentists and expected her to become a dentist too. But she hated it and in a first year exam she had a 'melt down' and bought a ticket to London and left New York two days later. Nora has just returned from twelve months travelling around Europe. It was probably because of her Dad that she discovered her love of travel as he regularly bought her magazines about exotic places. She loved her time abroad and is now back as she's run out of money. So she's here living with her cousin, Grace, and other roommate, Julia, until she can make enough money to go travelling again. Julia has tickets for an exclusive art gallery opening and the three young women go along. It's there that we rediscover Walker, Wes' best friend from the previous book in this delicious series by the fabulous author, Ali Parker. Nora is everything he has been looking for in a woman and so much more. Walker and Nora's meeting is not auspicious as it is his art gallery that she's attending and she's not feeling great about life in general. So she 'let's rip' about her feelings of artists and art in general. Walker is intrigued and entranced by her. He's very attracted to her physically [though she would be the first to say that she was no model and had plenty of imperfections but it's those that make her so real and fascinating to him]. When she discovers who he really is, she is mortified but agrees to go on a date with him. This book is so much fun to read and is one that I will definitely be re-reading. I liked Walker in book 5 which was the story of Wes and Briar falling in love [but this can be read as a standalone]. Together they are so sweet but the steam factor in some scenes may need you to turn on your air con. So beautifully written as you'd expect from Ali Parker. It was so easy to read and certainly compulsive for me. I have read all of this series [The Business of Love] and each story just gets better. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

This is book six in The Business of Love series and it is Walker and Nora's story. Nora never wanted to be a dentist it was her parents dream so after a lot of thinking she decided to travel for a year but now she was back and needed to find a job so that she could save some money and travel again. Walker paints live pictures of nude models and he make a lot of money from it which gives him a luxurious life style but he never knows if a woman wants him for his money or himself so he doesn't get involved with anyone. When Walker has a showing of his art at the gallery that he owns he meets a woman who speaks her own mind and is so refreshing and doesn't know who he is and he decides that he wants to get to know her. What do you do when two people with different life styles and are on different paths in there life and will have to make hard decision as that is what Walker and Nora will have to do despite there chemistry and connection between them. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the first page and you have to keep reading to see what would happen next. Ali Parker is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Nora is a traveler and enjoys seeing the world but after being gone she is by in NYC. When Nora’s roommates all but force her to go to an art show she proceeds to speak about how ridiculous it is to pay so much for a piece of art and that the artist is ripping people off by charging so much. As Nora proceeds to bash the art and the artist she doesn’t realize that Walker is listening to her conversation. Who is Walker, well he just happens to be the owner of the art gallery and the artist that Nora is bashing? What a way to meet talk about putting your foot in your mouth. Walker is taken by Nora and likes her spunk and attitude and decides that she can make it up to him by going on a date.
Ali always delivers a wonderful story and this one is no different. Great characters with plenty of chemistry and the storyline was very enjoyable. This is a must read and, in my opinion, 5star worthy. These is my honest opinion and I am voluntarily leaving my review for the arc copy that I received.

When you least expect it....that special someone walks into your life.
But usually you are not opening your mouth and inserting your foot when you meet.
Yes, Nora did just that.  She was at a gallery, looking at wonderful paintings (well she didn't think so), when a handsome guy walked up and started a conversation.  Little did she know this was the painter and she pretty much hammered the paints, the gallery you name it.
But that is Nora...
Now Walker thought she was a breather of fresh air.  She was like no one he had ever met.  She was not like anyone he had ever meet before and he was attracted to her from the first moment.  So he asked her out.
Now, you will have to read how these two navigate through their relationship.  If that is what you want to call it.
This series of books ROCK!!!!  They are great how you get to see the other characters from the other books slip into the books.  
A must read.
