The book is geared towards educators and classroom settings, but I think anyone who works with adolescents in any capacity, has teenage children, or is just interested in brain development will find this to be a good read. For those who aren't scientifically inclined (like myself) will find it easy to understand and it catches your interest quickly.

Excellent for anyone with teenage children! I read this book for a class at NAU and kept it to refer to often. It is written for teachers, but I have used it far more in parenting.

There really wasn't anything new to me in this book, but if you are searching for a light, quick read that's a "one-stop" summary of teens and the choices they make, it's a decent place to start.
